Yeah that pretty much confirms the F430 Scuderia to me
Im confused.. Why have we not seen rollovers in TGS gameplay before? Because it says the rollover video is from TGS, and most likely the same biuld everyone else had got to play.

Because any normal person wouldn't pick the worst car to drive on a demo that they might only get one go of![]()
There was various builds at TGS but the builds the media were going for were the rain on Eiger, they may have also had roll over enabled but not have seen it due to the lower chance with a skiny track in rain conditions.

I think you'll find Fiat racing will be quite popular here.
The Fiats are easy to roll, due to the narrow wheel base and high body, but a van is not. I drive a rear wheel drive work van and I chuck it into corners at around 60kph and drift it once in a while when it's damp and it doesn't roll as much as you'd think

Remeber back in the GT1 and 2, there were some cars that could get up on 2 wheels quite eaisly.
Anyway Track creator plus Fiats = roll over fun![]()

I thought the same thing it's weird ay :S

Yeah that pretty much confirms the F430 Scuderia to methanks buddy
There really wasn't that many videos from TGS uploaded by the Japanese public for some reason.
And if they were uploading, the titles and tags were written in Japanese so only people like Akira who visits and english speaking forum but is also fluent in Japanese can find them.
My hope is that the track, Fiorano, will make it into GT5.
I think that nobody has ever seen rollovers before that video came out.
I found the original youtube video link posted by a random anon guy on a japanese BBS a few minutes before I copypasted it here, and reactions were all like "yes!" "so it's confirmed", etc, so it's been definitely news.
My opinon is that rollovers weren't enabled in the public demos. The guy you see in the video for example is not a simple SCEJ guy, but a certain Mr. Maki from Polyphony Digital (you can see him here too. Scroll down to the GT5 section). I think it's possible that the PD staff purposefully set up the demo filmed in the japanese show video (which was uploaded to youtube just yesterday) to make rollovers possible (probably also "helping" the car a bit by fitting R tires and disabling the stability control driving assist - although I'm not sure if in the game it prevents rollovers).
About roll overs. Can standard cars roll too?
This is probably due to the fact that 1. Most people playing the demos are looking for damage or to simply enjoy it and aren't trying to roll the car and 2. most of the cars seen in the videos would be extremely hard to roll. In fact most have lots of stuff on and in them to keep all four wheels planted on the ground. The Fiat, as many people have said, was a LOT more prone to roll. You could probably google Fiat 500 crash and get lots of examples. I believe there's a Fiat 500 Cup held every year that races old 500s and there are a lot of roll overs.
Depends on the van. Modern vans and SUVs have stuff like "Active Stabllity Control" and a fancy rollover prevention things. SUVs are a LOT more prone to rollover nowadays then vans 'cause most vans are minivans which have a lot lower center of gravity. However, old vans like the Microbus, the A-team's GMC van and the Chevy Astro van as well as some Ford transit vans, were all a lot more prone to roll.
Speaking of being prone to disaster, I wonder if certain vehicles, like the Bus will have correct levels of damage. The Microbus had one of the worst crash ratings ever.
Another thing that pretty much confirmed the inclusion of the 430 Scuderia is the "All About Ferrarii" video released on GT5P's GTTV. Kaz took the car for a spin and timed lap on Ferrari's test track, Fiorano. And he gave a glowing review after his lap(s) in the car.

After sampling the laser scanned version in that Ferrari Virtual Academy thing, I don't think it's that great![]()
That's my point, did you not see the Enzo night racing part, it shows different exterior angles of your car while it counts down and lets you have the throttle at the last second like Forza 3, I don't like it.
Example:
I don't like-
I like-
Or atleast give us control over the trottle
Based on what we've seen so far - that Nascar Best Buy demo flip glitch and the Fiat - roll overs and flipping like this is now possible in GT5
