I don't think they ever listened as much to us as they do now.
A lot of features that will be in GT5 are all on the demand of the customer.
Although the website could be updated even more frequently,
we've got news now and then. More than in the GT1-4 era.
And the latest delay is IMO not a delay that would move GT5 a year away.
Even if some of these optimistic rumors weren't true,
they al align perfectly so.. make these optimistic rumors more credible.
I do believe GT5 was only 3 days late.
And I do believe Kaz has finally ended on GT5 and will keep his further and further perfectioning for GT6.

Has SCEA really said that we may not get GT5 until 2011? Sorry to bring it up if this already has been discussed.
A Danish news article claims that in an article about the piracy problem with software 3.41.

Google translation:
"Eternity Project Gran Turismo 5 was recently delayed by the hunredene time, and we believe the rumors, it's piracy, this time has caused the delay. According Sixth Axis Polyphony Digital namely built the game to run on version 3.41 of the PlayStation 3's firmware, but at the behest of Sony, they had to reprogram the 3.50 version.
Version shift is part of Sony's new strategy aimed at all games released after October 2010 require 3.50. By all accounts it is an attempt to stop piracy of games for PlayStation 3 and Gran Turismo 5 has changed caused, problems in style.
Yesterday Sony's American branch informed that we may have to wait until 2011 to put teeth into the game. After numerous delays, we are a bit skeptical about a launch in 2010, but hope nonetheless that car enthusiasts get tough packages signed Polyphony Digital under the Christmas tree this year."
Does it include in the package ?
(That one from Dubai for 9500USD?)
There you have it. It's not Sony or Polyphony Digitial who are to blame for the latest delay over the release of the game.

The rarely seen TRIPLE POST!!!
I don't remember the last time I saw that! Somebody get this guy a premium!
How does showing a common sight on Dutch streets lighten the mood?
Plenty of where that came from on multiple other sites for those needing to be cheered up I guess.
If I wanted to see that I wouldn't be here to discuss GT5......
You just edit your first post.I actually did three separate responses, so I have no idea how it became one.

I edited it to how it should be. That's why it says: "Last edited by Famine; Today at 8:50 AM. Reason: Triple post - please use the EDIT button" at the bottom (though your time stamp may vary).
Some people around here also frown upon those people who use "textspeak" despite agreeing not to when they joined the site.
Like me. You agreed to the AUP. You stick to it. If you find it boring, find another site.
What's wrong with shadows on LeMans? (also on Laguna Seca)
They are at very low resolution. To be honest - I'm worried.
