where is the discussion about the freeze in that last movie (from J-Killah) after 41 secs. Or am i blind? Shouldn't we worry?

Perhaps you may like to try the Epic rage and crying thread, it's nice there.

This works for you Seth, and I don't argue it. But some people feel the fact they've had to wait 5 years and still don't have something is reason enough to not have to wait longer. I generally agree with that view. I don't subscribe to the idea that because I've waited a long time, I shouldn't mind waiting even longer. But like you said, it's opinions.

This, however: pot, kettle, black, etc etc.

It be old.

Sorry, I don't speak your native tongue. pot kettle black? To me that sounds like you burnt something.

On a side note, why do you guys think they won't release it this year? You really think the delay is that big of a deal 'inside' that it'd cause the game to be pushed past x-mas?

You think that, I'll be happy playing GT5 before this year's done.
This is what I mean. If you expect it to come out this year, you might get disappointed. I on the other hand am prepared for a 2011 release and if it will indeed come out this year I'll be surprised and therefore even happier than you.

Acting like you're sure of things no one is sure of is just stupid.

Just directories probably left in during production. Doesn't mean much.

An oasis of logic in a thread lacking it 👍

Aw, you gave me a link I didn't need. I guess you missed the joke about burning something! I realized you were trying to call me a hypocrite. But that was far off the mark. I don't judge people for their OPINION's. I judge them when they say it's the TRUTH. I don't mind it being delayed because weve been waiting for years now. Others don't see it that way, but they don't state the fact that is their opinion, were all supposed to side with one side? There's nothing hypocritical about pointing that out, buddy.

The improved visuals and fireworks on Toscana :)
Grass, lighting, better trees, 3D spectators that take photos etc
Or it could be a different track. The fireworks were first shown on the RedBull TGS "horsepower" trailer.

That's a fairly significant visual upgrade to Toscana. Texture and lighting improvements along with people taking photos and fireworks. Really impressive stuff.

Why are you all shrugging this off...

It contains things like New York, Ducati, Buell, Grand Canyon, Yamaha were all left in the code when GT5P was manufactured, meaning there is a high chance they will appear in GT5.

Think about it, the NASCAR is in there, that has been confirmed, La Sarthe is in there, that has been confirmed...I think this is a pretty good find guys, why would that stuff be in the code if it won't be in the game.

Software should be as short & to the point as possible for it to run at optimum speeds, why would this stuff be left hanging about if it was of no use?

I was reading about this in the track list thread recently. There are no assets on the disc, just remnants of filenames. It's interesting but insignificant.

@ CoolColJ
You screen captures of Toscana are brilliant. Thank you very much.

PS: Those aren't 2D tree's in the slightest!

You don't know how often game discs include parts of code, that is never used in the game.

That's true to an extent, but the fact that these file names even exist opens the door to new possibilities.

Yeah, but it's very speculative. On one hand Bugatti and Lamborghini's names have been sitting on that disc since Prologue came out, which is pretty funny. On the other hand Kaz has already confirmed no bikes, so it's likely just every codename they'd created at that point and it goes pontiac, proto... in alphabetical order. Only interesting one I can see is Dome.

My earlier post to you isn't opinion based. It is truth based. The delay is a fact. I quoted sources that point this out. In understanding that, there really is only one side.

I believe the confusion for you arises when you think that people talking of the delay is a matter of perspective. It really isn't. How one deals with the delay is a matter of perspective though. Your expectations lead me to believe you were prepared for a delay and to do more waiting. That is completely fine.

I would agree with you that people getting as angry as they do about the delay is absurd. The point has been made, no? To put it another way, we know already. I'm personally not that invested in the GT5 release. Why? Well, I go weeks without playing my PS3. I then catch the bug to play again and I do. I hope some of this is clarifying rather than negative.

I read Buell and was so excited. My favorite motorcycles ever. Ugh if they were in GT5 <3.

I didn't realize you were apart of my reply, or that you even had a sense of humor.

No you're right that I haven't got a sense of humour ( at least not vaguely resembling yours that is ), you're wrong in assuming this is a private conversation however, it's a public forum where everybody reads and can react to what's written.
