FFS how many times does the term place holder date need to be mentioned around here. I must see 30 posts a day telling me what Amazon's new date is.

Man, i am getting sick of all this. I hate Sony so f|_|cking much, i just can't stand the fact, that Kaz is saying " discs are being pressed" and Sony just shuts up. BAH.

The last time Amazon put a spcecific date on their site was Nov 5th which turned out to be correct, until it was delayed again.

"GT5 brief play. Quik access to huge range of cars is cool. Tracks much more varied than b4. Steep learning curve. Visually - best out there"

My thoughts: The "on or about" date makes lots of sense if they plan to release the game in the same order as originally intended.

Japan was scheduled to release before Europe so I don't think your prediction is correct.
 
Japan was scheduled to release on the 3rd, same as SCEE (excluding UK, AU, NZ).

Oh, ok. I didn't know the UK had a different date to the rest of Europe. Still don't think GT5 would get released in Japan last though.
 
Yeah, the point i was trying make was maybe Sony didn't want to put "available on 11/30/2010, 12/1/2010, 12/2/2010,. . ."

you know? I am sure i am over analyzing the situation. I am just so excited to hear some news. Any News! :-D

Perhaps this refers to GT5 he was apparently testing?

Update:

Someone asked him why GT5 was delayed. His reply was

"no idea - but defo out for Xmas"

He is well known (in the UK at least) and I certainly believe his information-so hey maybe things are looking up

Picking up my new DFGT (my old PWT died) tomorrow and expecting my wheelstandpro around this weekend. Getting so pumped!

Being italian i didn't know who this guy was. Checked his twitter and...is him supposed to be playing the full game? :scared::scared::scared:

Onlangs heeft u bij ons de game ‘Gran Turismo 5 - Collector's Edition’ voor de PlayStation 3 besteld onder bestelnummer *********.

Fabrikant Sony heeft echter laten weten dat de release van dit artikel is uitgesteld. De game wordt nu op 21 december 2010 uitgebracht. U ontvangt uw bestelling op diezelfde dag.

Since not everey day from today to end of Q1 2011 was posted as new release date this thread will keep growing...

I don't know to be honest. He hasn't said either way, but if the game has indeed gone gold, then it's possible he has a review copy. That would also be why he can't talk about it much yet. If he just had the demo, people can play that in stores, so I don't think he would need to be so tight lipped about it. So if I had to guess I would say he has the full version of the game.

It is a bit stupid. That would put an Australian release of 23rd, those last 2 days before Christmas I got no hope to get even close to where I have to pick my copy up from, in fact, any store is to far away.

So unless a midnight launch happens, I won't be playing it before Christmas.

I am off to my Epic Emo thread!!!

Jason Bradbury is a muppet.

He thinks Xbox Kinect is the next big thing... he's a simpleton trend-follower without a genuine understanding of technology.

I wouldnt put any value on any comments he makes about GT5.
