I call BS six ways of Sunday. He's apparently the only guy on planet earth with a full copy of this game and his review consists of three short twitter sentences? Yea, OK.

Lots of cars, more tracks and good visuals? Hell I should be a "gadget" reviewer, because I already knew all that about GT5, in fact most have for about 6 years now.:dunce:

I doubt he has the full version, maybe just the demo. Even if he did have the full version he would be under NDA so he wouldn't be able to say anything that has not been release by Sony.
 
Well, if everything is on schedule, it should be starting now; the award ceremony I mean.

Since you put it that way kudos to you and sorry if I spoke slightly out of turn, I just thought since I had found a little information I should share it and perhaps tried to defend what I had posted, Even so as MA3EK pointed out he may not be allowed to give away much information

These sound about right. Although, I'd lean towards the 23rd for the US (in time for Black Friday). Europe and Japan might get it a few weeks later. I just have a feeling :nervous:
 
Wait, why are we waiting for an awards show for the new release date? Is it simply cause Kaz is there so why not?

Exactly, people are hopeful but after reading today's interview that pretty much shot all hope of a release date today for me

It makes little sense for them to release the date at a show unrelated to video games. Kaz was there to be around cars, not be bothered about his game. Sometimes I feel sorry for the man.

Things aren't so bad, I just found out EA's NBA elite 11 got cancelled and it was only a month or 2 away from release. So what's a minor delay, as long as it's not cancelled.

I would think a release date could be casually mentioned during the awards, at the least

Well, because it's news and any news that's positive is good news. If there's no news, then there's no news. I don't give a crap about which car wins at SEMA. Like you said and has already been posted..Kaz will not put the 2010 winner in the GT5 game.

What it's about is possibly hearing an announcement of a new Release Date.

The only reason he's at SEMA is because of the video games he creates. So, with that privilage, he should be willing to discuss the game, even if he keeps close tabs on his closest secrets about the game.
 
I'm not satisfied with what we've gotten recently.
I want a damn release date. I'm getting mad again. I feel like they're just stalling. If it's done, tell us when I can drive down to Best Buy and pick it up.

They do not need an event like sema or a game event for them to do the honorable thing and tell us. Just tell us. They said it was 3 days late to production. That was in mid October. I think it's patronizing for Kaz to tell me it's done and not give me specifics or a date.
Next thing we know we'll get a demo in mid November and we'll say "great!" but how about a release date? Then we'll get the date, of March... I'm not dumb, I want them to commit.
