Nice video, but no game sound, just some lame music.

Found a video from sema which is old but has some extra footage at the end with a few seconds of cockpit view of the Infiniti G37: Video

A.I seems to be the same.

Nice to see 12 cars at the Nurb, i was getting worried at the constant 8 car count.

Still no 900* steering.

Looked to me like the guy driving wasn't being very kind to the AI anyway.

What I wonder is why there was no count down timer on that demo.

Edit: ^^^ gt-rboy beat me to it...

How come if its a demo, it doesn't have the time limit on it?

It does, it takes him a minutes to actually start the race :P

And its a good video, but i wish they kept the camera steady, it made me feel dizzy.

There's no timer on the screen though...

And I noticed that the hand animation for the flappy paddles on the GT-R are different from the Ferrari's we are used to seeing. He doesn't take his hand completely off the wheel.

Just like in the Mercedes SLS as pointed out 10000 times already.

I think it's because they cropped off the top and right sides of the screen... :grumpy: If i remember rightly the timer is on the right hand side in the other videos.

His hands are lower down and the shifting animation has been improved. There is no 900 degree steering in the demo, i wonder if they scrapped that idea, because they already had a working model it just looked weird at full lock.

Man that vid was sweet, cool music too.

I havent even watched it with sound, i downloaded DownloadHelper, downloaded the video and directly uploaded it to YouTube.

I`ve read that PD has told to a guys of a motor magazine tht GT5 will be out on the summer (3D Version). No comment about the standard version.

Wish I knew the song in that. Nice tune.

And those hand animations there are brilliant. Might be a little difficult to handle some of those turns at high speeds with just one hand gripping the wheel while the other's on a paddle realistically, but it's still extremely well done. 👍

Yeah, they couldnt have done it better except that the hands sometimes clip through the wheel. Still, the most realistic shifting animations so far.

Nice vid:) Always good to see something new:)

Something is wrong with the shiftig animation? He shifts in the air and the hand is always in the same position.
Or am I wrong?

Edit:
Oh, or are the shifters not on the wheel like mine (fanatec:scared:)
Never had the pleasure to drive a car with this things.

They arent, they arent in most cars as far as i know.
Sense of speed is so much higher on the Nordschleife than on any of the wide Prologue tracks (except London, but its hard to reach really high speeds there):

Cant wait for la Sarthe and the Group C cars.

Oh yeah I saw that but I'm sure it will be fixed. During the shift animation (actually all the time) of the 458italia the thumbs are parallel to the wheel, or simply rest on the outside ring, so they don't clip

no point in complaining anymore about the lack of information :) How wonderful that I have reached the point of not reacting to the lack of info :)

I believe the phase you're in right now is called acceptance :)
You can now look forward to either contentment or bliss :sly:

My favorite section of the track, i love this corner, dont ask me why:

Btw. if the GIFs are too big please tell me.

The fact that random people can play this demo without spinning all over the place like I do in the TT Demo makes me happy.

Its because he drives with Standard physics and assists on.^^

EDIT: No wait, TCS and ASM are off, but i think its Standard though, i need to compare it to the settings from the Prologue demo.

Yea cant wait for La Sarthe too.

The sense of speed looks a bit better in this video thats true. But the TT Demo looks like GT5p . May its better now or it's just the tippical effect of the size of the image . If this picture would be now large as your screen it would look slow. Same with when you sit near the TV it looks slow when you play more further of the TV it looks way faster.

When I played the Tokyo demo at the GC . The sense of speed was so bad... cuz I sit so near to the TV. When I looked at my recorded videos it looked awesome fast. Its the view... but I hope your right and its faster now :)

It depends on the track, most people found GT4 slow too, but when you drove on the Schleife or la Sarthe, with all the trees and narrow parts, it felt extremely fast imo.

Yeah It depends thats true. La Sarthe in GT4 felt fine to me. While I find GT5 looks for some reason slower than GT4. I saw this Video here in one Thread GT4 nordschleife vs Reallife in the Nissan Skyline. When I looked on the Tachos and on the track they moved almost exactly same. The bumper and roofcam in GT4 look faster than in GT5 to me.I can't help it but when I drive in Prologue in London even at 220+ it feels extremly slow to me. I just played GT4 2 days ago. Probably a deeper field of view? Forza uses this trick...
It starts slow and unoticable to zoom the picture out while getting faster. You moving at same speed but it looks just faster. But when you hit at La Sarthe the wall at the end with 300 km/h+ you see it zooms back.

Have there been any videos or pictures of the carousels at the Nurburgring?

Not yet . The Demos were to limited that they could get this far on the track. ;)
