Well... better expect them to not support body kits for standard cars. But I would love modifications to the same extent GT2 delivered with the "Racing modification" thing (aka, you have no control over it, but the results are cool).

Well, uh, ok. But I was talking about confusion, again, about the type of course creator people expected. Something like ModNation Racers, but that was too complex, so we ended with the random-generated-based-on-some-inputs "Course Maker", not so "deep track editor".

It's a nice re-confirmation that plans haven't changed as of now, but I really just wish they'd put me out of my misery already :crazy:
 
ok, im getting sig edition. which comes with 11 bonus cars, i also have 30 cars from prologue which i understand can be transferred to gt5.. does anyone know if these can be used in gt mode from the start? (i hope not)...

No, no and no. It would require a total remodeled of old assets.

If it wasn't so late I would look up the interviews where Kaz himself stated these things about standards. I am sure it has been brought up a thousand times in the Premium vs Standard thread.

No i remember the interviews saying that the Premiums are built from the ground up with all parts detachable and "separating body panels"


But that never stopped cars in previous GT's from being R-modded.

With a Course Maker mountain pass type stage we can now recreate this seeing as how the Amuse s2000 has beena round since GT4.
 
It's indeed a RE Amemiya RX-7. It was mentionned in a magazine a long time ago but it's the first time we've seen it. (except a very small glimpse in the Playview Tech demo)

You sure ? It seems that the japanese release was planned on december 23rd so maybe we will get the game just before (or after) Xmas

When will they give us that ****ing release date, don't want to wait anymore 👎

It's a cool engine swap, but I'm not too impressed with the looks...

This won? That's weak... I mean it would look alright with a different set of wheels, but regardless out of all the cars they could have picked they pick something we can probably remake in GT5 anyway....


And I had told myself that if there wasn't a release date from SEMA, then this game would be coming next year.... but now instead we have a 'half' release date, where they're telling us its out this year......... This is so annoying...

I find this NFS 69' Mustang much more badass than the camaro!:D

My gut tells me first half of 2011. The only pattern Sony/PD have shown is that of not keeping to promises or deadlines. These people show no respect.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised, and I've said before that I'm prepared for a March 2011 release.

EDIT: It will probably not be released too many weeks into 2011 though, since the discs are being stamped and packaged as I write.

NO wait, the saddest part, is that the red hair dude drives an SLS, and does not know what a speedway is, and the other dude who owns a 69 corvette seems to know just as little, the guy who knew the most was the tall lanky guy far back left, he knew about GT from jump, hes probably just more reserved, probably the bassist or drummer.

Either way my TV will be on mute when that intro runs for the first time.

I like it. Then again I am more of a 'stang man. Just change the green.

sweet, I've always wanted the SuperG 7 to be in the GT series. I love their body kids. Keisuke Takashi uses one 👍
 
I think Sony is setting us up for a "surprise" release. It will lessen the PR sting of the delay of the Nov. 2nd planned release. I'm guessing we'll see that Butler guy leaving the "move" house, and going to Indy or something in a week or two on the TV.

Maybe although I don't like the combination of Sony and surprise anymore, and whatever happened to Kevin Butler after ManFurismoJive was announced to be his 'next' project?
