Please explain to me how that is a worthy post
I see PD getting involved with these auto manufactureRs to make GT a better game. How are they getting away from GT.
Well, his post was great on so many levels:
1st: it changes from the usual "my grandma told me GT5 will be released when Granpa changes underwear" type of posts
2nd: his analysis shows that there is hope in these forum, at least someone is using their brains
3rd: I dont see that scenario happening overnight, and let's assume for a moment that will be true... so what?? we all mature, we all learn new things, we all evolute (hopefully), we all move on from the past... so in Kaz's case, i would be happy, delighted, joyful for him that he can improve his career by going toward something he like so much... Producing the GT series has benefited all of us, himself in particular with all those opportunities of driving cars in exclusivity... I put myself in his shoes for a split second, and i would love to live a moment of his.... achieving so much...
I am sure their will be someone else who can make GT games even better (and surely faster) and if there isn't, so Kaz will get the credit for it,
but at least I am glad Kaz is just not stuck in one area, this guys has potential, and you cannot blame it on him for it... who would not want to have that much potentials (for themselves and for their lives) ???
Honestly that quote he stated is worthy is sorry in my opinion. I understand some people are upset about how long GT5 is taking to come out, but to say PD dont care about GT series anymore because they are interacting with automakers 👎. I just don't understand how that nonsense is a worthy post.
Ok Sony not PD Kaz loves his job and to say that he doesn't care about GT anymore because he involved with automakers is silly the man is trying to make the game better.
This is now beyond a simple game, even beyond GT5 (which is NOT a simple game) That post was worthy because it shows the potentials that a game such as GT5 can give any of us, a man like Kaz, and an organization like PD...
The potentials to, not only do something well, but to also achieve new things in other domains than your own area of expertise... That, my friends, is something we all would like, but it's certainly NOT given so easily to any / all of us.... Only a few selected person(s) organization that shows that much perseverance such as Kaz and PD can... We should all be happy for them to produce such quality work... i still cannot wait for GT5.
The best thing about PD is their ever increasing relationship with the auto manufacturers. They won't stop making games, it is far and away their main focus, to thimk otherwise is just, well, silly.

Right now PD's team cannot replace a whole engineering design team ... their effort only support and help steer the engineering design process.
And if they ever will, SCEI will have to expand PD's team to continue the GT series...
