why mate did you ever thought that one russian site that noone knows tell you about the delay?for the rest you write i couldnt agree more.

But nobody believed that Russia website until Sony confirmed the delay, so why should anyone believe an online store date until Sony confirms it?? So no, even if anyone gives out an "official date" because they've got "insider" information, it is not official until Sony announces it.

Look, no one is saying you can't go around thinking Nov. 30th is the GT5 release date. The thing is though, when it isn't out on Nov. 30th, don't come crying and raging on GTPlanet and blame Sony for another delay.

Yup, I agree, right now, there is a lot of evidence pointing towards a Nov 30 release, but non of it is official and its all speculation. There is a good chance all this speculation could have lots of weight to it, but once again, its all guess work right now.

ye sorry hommie =/ but you must know i am not from them that i ll spam GTP forums and moaning if the game didnt released at 30th nov, cause i dont have official release date,blame them for what?rumors?i am looking for official release date tho like you :D no bad feeling tho, just a misunderstanding between us :D

However on the opposite the incident with the russian website shows that other places may have inside information, before that the common answer here was we would know it first or if not within minutes however that russian site found out about this delay a full 24 hours ahead of us knowing/song confirming it, so I wouldn't write off the possibility of one of these places actually knowing something.

You might want to check his website, I think you will find he is busyer now and making more money than when he wore the suit,

He is riding the coat tails of the "Who is The Stig?" story......don't get me wrong.....good for him.

But that kind of fame doesn't last. Especially when Top Gear moves on with a new Stig next month and the story moves on to "Who is the new Stig?"

I suppose the interview is a new one, even though it is nothing exciting.

BOOO, November 5th and GT5 would be in our PS3s tonight if the delay hadnt happened.

Yeah your right there, when you google news gt5 a whole bunch of people and sites are saying the same date. Even in New Zealand retailers are saying Nov. 30th. So what truth is behind this I have no idea, but we can all hope right?!
 
A thought since I work for a Japanese company with occasional visitors from Japan upper levels regarding the release date. First off its obvious that Kaz was in the US, SEMA, and chances are production for the discs is going on as he was here. I would more then likely guess that he is soon returning home and then they will have there meeting regarding the release date, yes they can teleconference and all that but chances are they will take care of the details early next week on getting the date to the public. Sucks to have to wait it out for a release date but its not like most of us haven't this game reserved for more then a year as it is.

Something else : Will it be possible to do a physical 24 hours ? That would be stunning. Would be nice to do with a bunch of friend.

Certainly, you're right with the inside info but we should hold the mentality that nothing is 100% until Sony confirms it with BIG RED NUMBERS and a picture of Kaz's smiley face :).

I think so. It was possible in GT4.

And I did the true 24h Nürburgring race in GT4 with a friend. It's tiring lol :dunce:

Yes, 24Hrs endurance races are in GT5. The bigger question is whether you are physically and mentally fit for 24 hour racing. LOL, if you're serious about it, you better start going to the gym and train up. Racing is serious business. :dopey:

While fans continue to wait for the final word on a release date for Gran Turismo 5, NASCAR driver Joey Logano will be sporting a new paint scheme featuring the game's logo at the Texas Motor Speedway this Saturday.

In a press release from retailer GameStop, which also sponsors the car, Logano states GT5 is coming in November.

"I'm pretty pumped about having Gran Turismo 5 on the car this weekend," Logano said. "To think you can go on there and race the No. 20 car is wild. I've played racing games all my life, and it's crazy to see your own cars in the game."

"I can't wait for it to come out later this month," he added.

Sony, however, still isn't talking about a release date yet. The company told IGN this past week they will have details for fans "very soon." Series creator Kazunori Yamauchi was recently quoted saying game discs for GT5 are currently being pressed.

Yes, 24Hrs endurance races are in GT5. The bigger question is whether you are physically and mentally fit for 24 hour racing. LOL, if you're serious about it, you better start going to the gym and train up. Racing is serious business. :dopey:

Well, I'm guessing he was told to say that by Gamestop which is odd because I believe gamestop's place holder is 1/1/11.

Update: GameStop says the quote used in the press release was outdated: "When Joey played the game earlier this fall, he was told that the game was coming out in November and was unaware of the delay," a spokesperson said.

Yes, you can pause and save, I forgot which article mentioned it. I was just poking fun at how he mentioned whether it's possible to "do a physical 24 hours."

And that IGN interview with Joey Logano didn't state anything about November release.

"I can't wait for it to come out this holiday season," he added.

Then IGN interpreted "Holiday Season" = November then put "Logano states GT5 is coming in November." and put that in front of what Joey Logano actually said, twisting the whole message. :yuck:

They completely changed the press release. The one they shipped out said that he couldn't wait to play the game later this month and now it says that he can't wait to play it this holiday season. So they either slipped up and gave a window for the release date or they made a big error in quoting him.
