wow congratulations JORDAN!
BTW: Winners of the Ultimate Gran Turismo Fan :
http://us.gran-turismo.com/us/news/d5191.html
"Winning third place honors, as well as a Gran Turismo PSP Entertainment Pack and a signed Gran Turismo poster, is Jordan Greer, founder of Gran Turismo fan site GT Planet"
And nice they're mentionning GTPlanet on the official Gran Turismo site haha![]()
I stumbled across this picture of a sign in japanese. What I make of it is that a GT5 demo can be played during some show (Amurakkusu?) until Feb. 7th, with the Toyota FT-86 (G) and Lexus SC 430. Source
Can anyone translate what else the sign says?
![]()
From my limited Japanese knowledge, it says:
Gran Turismo 5 Trial Event, which lasts from Jan 19 till Feb 7.
There's a GT5 corner appearing at the venue B1F within the above limited time period.
There are two versions of the Demo:
Blue - GT5 Auto Salon version, which features 3 events:
1. FT-86 Concept One Make Race
2. FT-86 G-Sport Concept One Make Race
3. Petronas Tom's SC430 GT500 Class Race
Red - GT5 Toyota version
In this version, you're gonna challenge the Super GT driver. (Sorry that I forgot his name in English, seems like he's the one to show off GT5's data logger visualization technology demo).![]()
I was thinking about that data logger and I had a great idea for it is to have all cars in the SGT have one installed and then the data could be provided for us so we can 'watch' the race as it happened. providing more than one of set of data can be loaded at a time
Unless they incorporate something like iOpener Enabled technology, like RTR has. It's a logger, not a live streamer. Live streaming will not work or happen with this. The data will always be lagging behind.
+1congrats jordan can you show us the video or slidshow or article you sent would be really cool seeing it
Thanks for the kind words, guys, but sorry - I'm not going to be sharing the video.![]()
