And also play TV does not even work for cable or satellite systems.

Guys that just occured to me i was playing GT5P and trying to buy a new car but couldn't decide on what colour so i said to myself that is typical granturismo that buying a car you have to be 100% sure that is the colur you want or else you have to buy a whole new car to get another colour but don't get mw wrong i actually liked that so what i mean to say is with all the new features like damage and people wanting livery editors and stuff like that well i think that will sort totally change granturismo some or most might argue for the better but i feel too much change will sort of ruin the game for me only die hard fans will understand what i said because things like no colour change and stuff like that is what makes us love granturismo as a series but if granturismo going to have livery editors and stuff like that then in my honest opinion i think it is losing its core
P.S i know what i said might be highly debatale but that is only what I think

According to the specification, neither does Torne. Both devices are terrestrial digital broadcast only.

Shame, looks like a pretty slick UI but it would have to be outstanding to swap Sky+ for it. Personally I doubt a region specific TV add on would have much influence on a games release date.

the European Play TV system dosn't actual record HD chanels in HD Torne dose....aparently.

How do you expect us to be happy with a game that lacks features other games have had for a decade?

Sure. I will be. Maybe you should just play those other games to use those features?

Holy run on sentence Batman!

If you care so much about your cars in GT then being careful not to damage it would make it even more real.

No, this should be your PS3 wall paper.

I hate to carry on the PS3 background thing, but something nice and simple is perfect, such as;

Straying a bit too far off topic...

;)

Sorry, I guess the lack of news these days make some of us a bit mental. :) When is the next time we might expect to hear something new? A gameshow or something similar..

Perhaps I am daft (likely) but I fail to make the connection? The posted list is either legend, myth, or historical accounts from various authors and historians. I am not all that well educated so would you mind connecting the dots for us "simple folk"? Gracias.

Hey, sorry I didn't see your question before.

I was just making fun of the whole GT5 saga, making fun of Sony/PD and all of us. My point being, we sit in these forums reading, writing opinions and almost "mythological" features no one is sure of. All along GT5 remains a "myth", a "legend" by some accounts. The fact is, no one knows how good this game is going to be.

I never forget the huge Microsoft "Vista" fiasco (I'm thinking Sony here) after a 5 year development, which proves how easily developers can lose sight of what they are supposed to be doing. Often enough they delay a product because a competitor came up with something innovating, so they go back and add...add...add...instead of just staying with their game plan and releasing in a reasonable fashion. We could all have been enjoying GT5, in the form of GT5p, had they only expanded it and added better multiplayer features. The wait now could have been more bearable.

The other analogy could be Apple and its hands on, non-delegating, maniacal CEO, who can only focus on one thing at a time (I'm thinking Kaz here), resulting in either brilliant products or total fiascos. I mean, the so called "iTablet" has been in the works for almost as long as the GT5.

Given GT5 may not release until the end of the year, we should all sit back and take a deep breath. For now, at least for me, GT5 is no more than a myth, a legend by some accounts here, "the sim to end all sims". I mean, I have heard of it, seen some GT5p like clips, tried the GT5p like Time Trial demo, some claim to have played the real thing but...does it really exist?

All I know and care about, is that I have gotten older waiting for this mythological game. At the rate the GT series is developed/released, it is likely to be my last.

I hope this made sense :)

Found primarily (in the UK at least) on Volkswagons. A.K.A... 'Dubs'

I own an '89 mkII 16v gti. I've had others too and i'm a bit of a fanatic :)

ohhhhh.... ok i thought u were talking about Dubs as in those other rims

Anyway... The screens on the front page were posted in here like 10 pages ago.. I always get excited when I see 'new 8mp screens' than only end up being something I saw a week ago :(

I know its a bit off the topic... but...

I tried racing a F2007 against other F2007 and tuned it to be fair, not for me to go over 410 km/h drafting and overtaking everybody in 2 laps. Thing is, i really found it interesting, not for watching(i don't like watching IRL or nascar), but for racing.

So i want to know, what do you guys find about oval racing?
And, are you looking forward to racing IRL's and Nascar's cars?

***Please, no jokes about how i write, i'm from brazil, who thinks my english is bad, should try learning portuguese for a while.***

I'm not really sure about the oval racing yet.

I honestly don't think anyone jokes about other peoples english. I know mostly everyone respects 'foreigners' (people who don't speak English as their first language) that their English is not going to be perfect, but as long as they get their point across everything is okay

Sorry,it is just that i saw a couple of posts making fun of a italian guy who could not write properly.👎

What do you mean about not being sure about it?
Not tried so you can't tell?

Instead if foreigner, non-english speaker is the proper term. If you're an American residing in the US, then you would consider your english-speaking British born neighbour, a foreigner. On the other hand you might have 4 year old American born Hispanic neighbour who's growing up in a Spanish-speaking household and have yet to speak english fluently. He's not a foreigner.

It's completely OT but I had to do it :)

Oh I see. That's dumb though.

I'm not sure about the ovals, it'll be intense racing, (like mission 34 really) but one wrong move and it's into the wall and the whole race is over..

Well I meant it in the sense, foreigner to English
