yeah, and someone earlier before that was posted was like "looks like its going to be a fairy easy game" I find that funny.

They are wrong!!! With damage it really does become a beast to get fast on!

The first time, what aobut the other 3 times you posted the SAME LINK, even on the same thread page, son wake up, im not TRYING to sshh on you, but you're making it easy.

aobut , whats that.

And sshh, whats that aswell.

But point taken 3 times was little much, just got excited i found some new news

End of day im sure you got more to worry about than me posting that link 3 times:indiff:

Mods, we literally need a spoiler-free thread with release dates as an exception lol. I'm seriously trying to save the surprises for last.

1. Stop looking at the latest news thread.

2. Wait for Jordan to update the homepage when Sony announce the release date.

Sorry, but I still do not understand the logic behind that dealer/car menu...

Is this Gran Turismo Retail, really ? I have my doubts meanwhile.

1. Why aren't ALL car makes shown from the start even if they have to be unlocked later/ingame ?

2. Why aren't there ALL car models shown from the start even if they have to be unlocked later/ingame ?

3. Why are the "Premium" cars separated from the "Standard" cars ?

It doesnt make sense ! It wasn't like that in GT4 !
It seems to be anything else than "perfect" !

(The main menu looks also messy/unprofessional, btw.)

In my honest opinion either PD was in a BIG hurry to get the game finished or what we see still IS NOT THE FINISHED GAME.

Just stay off here, check the main news page every so often, if there's an official release date Jordan will have it up there ASAP.

Yeah that kind of is a shame, the videos they're bringing us are good and all, but theres plenty of other stuff that we'd rather see, personally i want to see the options for wheels etc, some photo mode, more of a look through menus, cars/tracks etc..

I thought one of the chaps posting vids last night is/was a member?

Sorry for maybe going off-topic here but....

I don't get it why people want to see everything from the game while they don't have it themselves. I mean it's like the same as unwrapping the gifts underneath the Christmas tree to see what's in it, and then wrapping it back in.

Maybe it's a matter of taste but I really don't get some people here.

Yours,

Wow those classic cars cost a bundle. 15,000,000 for the Miura Prototype and 20,000,000 for the '67 330 P4. I guess I have a lot of work ahead.
Would be interesting to know what race in GT5 brings the most money in the shortest time ... :D than we could calculate the time for e.g. 15,000,000 credits.
In GT4 the best race was about 300.000 credits in 10 minutes (with selling the won mercedes), so 500 minutes / 8 and a half hours for 15,000,000 credits.
We need to have a good B-Spec driver for this and than we could lean back. But to train the B-Spec driver will cost much time as well.

Levels my friend, unlock stuff. 'nuff said

Found the grammar police! ^^

Is it just me or have Gamestop released an already released video, rendering this Turismo Tuesday pointless?

Also what time was the announcement that in 24 hours Sony were going to make an announcement about the GT5 Released date first heard? Or is this just speculation?
Not only is it an old video but it has been available right there at the bottom on that same page unlocked for at least 3-4 weeks.

Not too fast. A lot of the confirmed cars aren't in the dealership menu.

Yep, besides, I saw that cars showed in videos posted yesterday, are which can be bought in the actual level, so we can expect unlockable content...

That's the finished product. Take it or leave it.

Read the posts in the last few pages and you would get an idea on why.

Which means it'll take less time to complete the requirements and become a better driver, then grinding on the same race for 8 hours. Obviously you're still given the choice to grind, but PD made it even clearer which path you should take. 👍

1 & 2: So you can be surprised as you play the game. I like this way better than Forza's "here are all the cars...too bad you can drive most of them yet." There's real point in showing cars you can't buy.

3: Because they're two different graphic models and it makes it a bit easier for those who just want to by Premium models...although, if you want the 1000 car garage trophy, you'll need to buy some standards.

How is it possible to get an early copy of the game??

True, but we'd have to wait for the Full Track List, Full Car List, heck even a Full Dealership List would need some time, with the new levelling system.

Even if someone could race solidly race on GT5 for days, who has the time to do that here honestly?

But I agree we'd have more information

What is needed, is someone with a PC, and a blu-ray drive, who can dissect the disc. Once you dig into the folder hierarchy, it should be relatively easy to extract the complete car & track list.

... And within each lobby, cars will also be restricted like you can only drive low powered cars + karts in 0-10, some supercars in 10-20, most supercars + low powered rally in 20-30, SuperGT, DTM, Nascar, rest of Rally in 30-40, and finishing it up with Group C, LMP, F1, X1 in 40-50. Again, only assumptions.

I don't think that's a fair system, drivers with higher rank might want to race other drivers of the same rank but say in FF compacts, why should they have to race against amateur drivers just to race in low powered cars and vice versa?

But its been shown that Online will have ITS OWN level system independent of Offline.

So that online level is more indicative of your online performance and behavior and will govern not which cars you can use, but which drivers you should face...

The menus look very clean and classy. So i'm really not sure where you're getting the messy thing from.

And just because things aren't handled in the exact same way that they have been in previous games doesn't mean that it's incomplete. Kaz told us a long time ago that the GT mode would be different this time. Many people have been asking PD to change up the GT mode and they have.

20,000,000 credits for a classic Ferrari? Really? Hmm.

That's not far off from what a real P4 would actually cost in real life mind you, in fact I would say 20,000,000 is reasonably spot on (if you don't believe me check auction results on the web).
Classic Ferrari racecars with a significant history cost much and much more than any current one would ever cost.

LOL...what? That video was available ever since NASCAR was introduced to be on GT5. Maybe Gamestop is too busy with COD Black Ops and threw something random?
I looked it up, it's from march 4th this year.

Well of course you can race with lower powered cars in higher levels. What I meant is that the restriction will be removed in higher lobbies so you can have more race options, rather than a specific class for each lobby.
