How long do you think it will be before GTP members resort to cannibalism?

At the current rate at which we are losing our sanity I'd give it 'til tomorrow afternoon.

I hope thats correct and not dec 11. . . which is a saturday and wouldn't. . . idfk. Is that when they are supposed to start marketing? So, would we have a release date announcement when they start marketing? Or will they just advertise" GT5, COMING SOON" for the next century?

In the rest of the World, the date is always listed logically as in: Day - Month - Year. If that email was from within Europe, the date is 12th day of November 2010.
 
It didn't happen. Havent we already ben trolled recentyl? Or.. no they actualy had the game...
 
At this point it won't matter if we believe raven, its wait and see either way.

Its advertizing jargon, ATL=Above the line. BTL=Below the line. these phrases being in the post ads a little weight to its validity in my opinion.

ATL probably refers to a gt5 area in pshome

BTL could be anything from razorblades to footlong sandwiches :)

Forgive me for my doubting, but so far that hasn't been much concrete info to confirm said date So I'm not sure if what you say is any more solid. Also where are you from exactly?

Even though is not solid, I have to be optimistic about that week. That's the week of Black Friday. Any release after that could be sales lost. Games, TV's, accessories, consoles,etc. If Sony wanted to bring up sales from previous quarters, due to down econonmy, this is the week to do it. Headlines would read, Sony sales have sky rocketed in the 4th quarter 2010.
 
Here's my theory: The hype for the game faded somewhat after the delay was announced so they leaked those videos in hopes to restore the hype to its previous level, I guess.
So now that over 1100 people are visiting the site when before it was like only several hundred, I think that's a sign that interest in the game is building. So, HOPEFULLY that means that a release date is coming. But once again, this is just my little theory.

Any news can be relevant. Whether you want to believe it or not is up to you. What he says does match up with what's come out. Rather he's taking all of the current news and trying to back it by a false statement is up to the user. Regardless, it makes sense if you read it. So who knows?

i just summarized the e-mail, it was mentioned in e-mail that there will be commercials , tv ads etc . starting november 15.

E-mail is not in English you wouldn't understand it.

My hype has never died down for this game, I have waited too long for it to suddenly lose hype for it so close to release. Cant wait to start lapping Cape Ring and the long Eiger trail! ARGRHYGHRGA ROLL ON RELEASE DAY!

haha, im with u there. i believe this guy. plus, if they are goin to release it this month, they HAVE to announce a date tommorro.
 
We already know the weather will change in a race cos Kaz said so. It was practice mode in that video so intead of waiting for it to rain it makes sense to have a wet track. Same as F1 2010.

It'd be quite a logical step. The fact that the game is being pressed and november 26th its black friday i think sony would be bunkers to let that slide, its one of the most crucial days of the year for all retailers in the US.
For everyone not living in the US, this is what shops look like on black friday:

And that's just because most retailers have nice discount deals for Christmas presents and stuff like that.

A game as GT5 could not miss out on that, it'd mean missing at least half the Christmas sales in the US.
I'm from the Netherlands, we don't have a black Friday, but still you wouldn't want to miss the Christmas sales anyway.
