Just a thought;

Anyone else think that perhaps having F1 cars/tracks in GT5 during the current F1 season was a no-no and screwed up marketing & release at the last minute? Bernie E. is a prick you know...I won't go there with Max Mosley (too easy)
 
Commercials for Black Ops started on Nov 4. The game came out two days ago. Commercials for both Need For Speed and Assassins Creed started on Nov 10 and are coming out the 16th. My point is people should not be worried(if they are) about not seeing advertising. Someone stated that commercials would begin airing on the 15th so that seems in line with a 23/24 release.

Maybe, I don't remember any other games going for that close a release but who knows. I sometimes get games a day early anyway so fingers crossed.:)
 
The master plan has gone out the window, folks! Their entire campaign went FUBAR when they missed the production date. They are running around drunk and blindfolded in uncharted territory - just printing and shipping, printing and shipping. When they've done enough of that for an actual release, the fit will hit the shan and news will be sprayed rapid-fire across the internet in massive, pungent clusters... you will KNOW when it goes down, there will be no way to avoid it.

before the delay i think it was Nov 2nd US, 3rd EU and 4th AUS/NZ & ASIA so i assume its gona be the same pattern with Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday.

Went hunting today, got hold of my mates that rang some certain important people about GT5 release.

It is not even in warehouses here in Australia. Which means minimum 2-3 weeks before release.

So that looks like December here for us!
 


Replace "The China Syndrome" with Gran Turismo

Replace "Kimberly Wells" with Kevin Butler

Replace "Richard Adams" with Jack Tretton (Head of Playstation)

Replace "Jack Gadell" with Kazanuri Yamauchi

Replace "Nuclear Power plant" with developer Studio

Replace "Southern California" with GTPlanet

and the point of the movie is all of these people are doing whatever they can to release the thing.

Rubbish. The first ever leaked copy we saw was the Australian version. They must have started printing them weeks ago.

But there WAS a guy in Australia with a disc from possibly the Sydney Sony Blu Ray plant. Don't you remember?

Are you serious? If you've been gone for 8 hours it would probably take another 8 to get to where we are now, but by then it'd be another 100 pages up. If you're not constantly watching this thread it's impossible to keep up with everything. How hard is it to say, "No, nothing major has happened today either"?

What real proof do we have about him?

Most games go to resellers warehouses first, then shipped to locals stores, that is a 2 weeks turn around there!

That is the 26th November at the earliest.

He provided the first true picture of the disc we have seen. Then lots of 'it's fake' discussion followed, now we understand it is the actual disc

At least I'm up to speed on whats happening in this forum.

And the rumored dates going around are the 23rd in America, the 24th in Europe and likely the 25th for Australia, so it sounds about right anyway!

Um, this means warehouses should have the game..

They don't..

So 25th will not happen.

It is mid December, live with it.
