The reason behind the no release date is, the batch printed in Australia failed. The game was due for release pretty quickly.

The guy who has the game, is from the failed batch, it is a dodgy copy and he got given it from where he works, it probably fails somewhere along the line or something.

That printed batch was suppose to be shipped to store warehouses etc here in Australia starting on the 11th Nov, yesterday here.

However, now it is not, they have to reprint them, and ship them out.

Hence, December for Australia, you guys might get it before, I can't find that info out.

You're just making stuff up now. Can we get a mod to delete this misinformation?

The source is the supplier here in Australia, I went to see a mate at a local store.

He rang them while i was there, on speaker phone so I could hear it, and asked the situation.

That store has over 700 orders, they are now contacting all those people letting them know to expect a mid December release date.

I myself, might import it. If I can find a place that is not sold out in a heart beat.

Well, if true we will hear about it. Because we will have member's posting this information.

"Hey I just got a call and [gamestore] said it is mid December."

However, I don't know why they would call and inform them to expect mid December...

When it doesn't have a release date yet.
 
Well I would hope that EB would call me to tell me when it is going to come out... But they didn't call me to tell me that the release was delayed from Nov 4 (australia), which makes me wonder...

Also regarding that failed batch, basically the game works fine but the print is off? Is that it? I don't think no one would even notice it.
 
Rather just than give us a release date they removed videos from youtube...Maybe I'm too selfish but anyway...

Its nothing important, and untrue so its not necessary plus I can't be bothered find it with all these pages, it must be at least 500 pages back.
 
The GT5 stocks are already collecting dust in most countries, all we need is a release date. Hopefully today.

People are overreacting here, just *fingers crossed* 10 days to go.

I'm not sure I buy this as true or not(not calling you a liar but with everything going around I've heard multiple stories from "reliable" sources that turned out to be people pretending to know this situation, or thinking they know it, when they really don't have the correct info).

If it is the case I really hope they don't hold the release date back for other regions because of it. Not to crap on Australia this gives you guys the option of importing it if you want to as well. You know if any of the other regions have had similar issues or not?

Yup just checked the weltbild page... Those "!"(!§( ($§($§"(.... They knew it that people will preorder it from them for 70&#8364;... Catch customers to make money...

Would be interesting to call the Media Markt and check out what they have to say... I bet they also say that they wont get the game on monday... I cant call because I´m at work now...

i am a little bit confused about yesterday. That impression or that guy. That he sed he has no "wow" moment, and it was not much better than GT5P, but more a GT 4.5. Ow it, i want to play the to myself so i can give my opinion.

"Soon" means nothing when he says it.

This time's it a bit different, it's coming from Kaz's mouth. Not Sony's. Normally when Kaz says something he means it. Maybe later today or tomorrow. This kinda matches up with the news we've been getting as of late (November 23-26th release.)
