Seeing a release date has made my day. Then I seen the car list...

204. S Ford AU 2000 Ford Falcon XR8 ‘00

240. S Holden Commodore SS ‘04
241. S Holden Monaro CV8 ‘04

This has just made my year!! It's great to see some Australian cars in the list.
 
Well, the way I see it, I only care about two things;
1. Hope that you can change the wheels/paint on Standards in the near future (DLC/Patch)
2. That the new Fiat 500 will have colour-complimenting dashboards and Fiats' (I must say, veeeeery sexy) choice of wheels and stickers :sly: (I want this as mai first car :) )
 
If there are 1031 cars and only 220 of them are premium, everybody will be 80% dissapointed.

So this matter was discussed long time ago. 220 vs 60 in prologue isn't bad but we all expected more. Hope DLCs help.

No release date for Australia yet mate.......:scared:
And yes its good to see some Aussie cars in but like everyone would have like something newer from the BA XR6T or the VE HSV........ but hey there are a 1000 other cars to play with.:dopey:

Weiß jemand wie das mit den Gebrauchtwagen ist ? Gibts da die seltenen Modelle wieder nur in bestimmten Wochen zu kaufen, wie in GT4 ?

What about the used cars ? Will the "rare ones" only be available in certain weeks and only a few times during the whole game ? Like it was in GT4 ?
 
Does anyone have a logical explanation why there are cars that are premium and standards?

If you already have a ultra-detailed model, why keep the old model?

Could it be for that would let advantage to include more cars in the race in some modes of game?
 
I'm just astonished how people are shocked at the car list knowing majority of the cars in GT PSP where coming to GT5. I'm so pumped for this game man, the Demo was really good to me, GT5 is going to be huge!

Nah, not at all. I posted in Oct 09 that GT PSP was looking like GT4:Mobile, and the ability to port over would mean GT5 was in danger of looking outdated by the time it launched.

However, being excited about GT5, and an optimist, I hoped that they would add sufficient new cars post GT5P that would keep the title looking fresh.

Based on today's car list, they haven't.

I'm sure our release date will be on the 25th to match up with US release.

I agree I have a BAXR6T '05 but I would love for them to include the FPV XR6T Typhoon considering they have the Holden CV8 '04. Would even the playing field for the Holden vs Ford custom events that I'm sure you will see all over the aussie online matches.
 
I bought a PS3 just for this game. (5 years ago lol) I could really care less how many cars and tracks are in the game (within certain limits of course), I am just so stoked to be able to tackle the license tests, buy that first car and work my way up. Nothing like starting a new GT from scratch. Getting all golds, beating Mission 34 and getting to 100,000 A-Spec points consumed me for awhile on GT4 and I still had so many other things to try in the game. Just enjoy.:)
 
I just woke up and i still can't believe... we've got official release date and it's only 12 days away from today... *Opens bottle of gin* Time to celebrate. n_n

It's so nice to finally have a release date.

And thank you to just about everyone who's posted the last couple days, you have kept me quite amused.

Everyone will be doing that if the TGTT is available in arcade mode
 
Why are people still moaning?

Geez ive got all gt games, and never once have i moaned about anything, they are superb.
