Well, I'm finally seeing it all the right way; 200 new, immaculately modelled cars, and (around) 800 add on cars; think of it as pre-installed DLC, just not as 'fresh'.
I do wish there were a few more European cars, but hey, if there was an Update for GT5P, there has gotta be one for GT5, perhaps DLC or a Patch, I don't know, I can only hope I suppose. But if there isn't I won't be disheartened; most of the game is complete now, GT6 will be GT5+ if no/not many new features are added, minus cars and tracks of course.

As a side note, I hope that Special Stage Route 7 will be one of those tracks that will go down in GT history; it's not the most complex, but GOD, is it beautiful.

Sorry if this has been ask, but has anyone been able to determine what the P and S status to some of the cars means? It can't possibly mean that same car is included as both a premium and standard model. Can it?

It denotes that the car was in GT:PSP and GT5P, so if you trade from GT:PSP you get the Standard, if you trade from GT5P you get the Premium.

As soon as amar212 told us 24th it was pretty evident that it would be the 24th. Thank you amar212 and Jordan :D

I know they said standard cars don't feature cockpits and such, but how come their are cars from GT5:P that are now classified as "standard", the cars in GT5:P have modeled interiors etc. such as the 350z which is a "S" car in GT5...anyone got some insight on that?

What?, that makes no sense.

-.-
Some cars (The Citroen GT, for example) were in both Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (I'll spell it out for you) and Gran Turismo: PlayStation Portable. You can trade cars between both these games and Gran Turismo 5. If you trade the car from Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, you get the Premium version. If you trade from Gran Turismo: PlayStation Portable, you get the Standard version?

Comprende?

Oh, the injustice!

While GT5 releases I'm going to be sleeping in a tent hundreds of kilometers away from my home "serving my country"..

I'm fine with the cars-list but I'm disappointed with the track-list!I missed Spa and Motegi and what about El Capitan? Was it present in the last TGS trailer?!let's hope PD add some premium car and some new track(Spa+Motegi) and some GT4 track(El Capitan,Seattel).
I can't wait to play it.......24/11/2010 is the day!

It makes no sense at all.

If you already have a more detailed model of a car, why keep the old model?

Why they should "punish" the PSP users giving a worse model without the possibility of race modifications?

Where has it been said that we can trade cars from gt5p? And why would it make a differens where you trade them from, you dont fysically move the car over, if you have the car in the psp you just get the equal car in gt5...

Have any of my American friends brought this up yet? The collectors edition from Gamestop is only available for shipping, no in-store pickup. Right now Gamestop says it's going to ship out on the 24th...Thanksgiving is the very next day and there are no deliveries on that day. Hope I don't have to wait until Friday the 26th. :/

Does Gamestop ever ship a day early so that you get the game in the mail the day it releases?

No release date for Australia yet mate.......:scared:
And yes its good to see some Aussie cars in but like everyone would have like something newer from the BA XR6T or the VE HSV........ but hey there are a 1000 other cars to play with.:dopey:

EU PlayStation blog says 24th for all PAL territories. That includes Australia :)

Wow i've never heard of a CE not being an in store pickup. That's kind of odd.

I wish i could help you on this but i'm not sure.I tried to pre-order the CE back in August, but they said they wouldn't be taking anymore CE pre-orders.

I do share the enthusiasm of having a go at the Diablo as I was so jealous when I saw it only in the NTSC-J copy of GT3. It also fixes the problem of "No Diablos" in GT5 :D
