Yes, but in a Driving Simulator you want to be able to simulate different things. Whats the point of wasting resources to simulate the following:
Honda S2000 '99
Honda S2000 (EU) '99
Honda S2000 (US) '99
Honda S2000 '01
Honda S2000 (EU) '01
Honda S2000 (US) '01
Honda S2000 Type V '00
Honda S2000 Type V (EU) '00
Honda S2000 Type V (US) '00
Honda S2000 Type V '01
Honda S2000 Type V (EU) '01
Honda S2000 Type V (US) '01
Give me one, JUST ONE, good reason to include ALL of those. GT5 was promised the be the ultimate driving simulator. One of the taglines for the game is "Build a dream collection from over 1,000 of the world's most exciting cars, from exotic imports to muscle cars and performance supercars, to customize, race, and upgrade." I'm sorry, that list above, I'm counting it as 2 (maybe 4) cars, not 12. When a quarter of the cars are the same model (248 Nissan Skylines), that looses the excitement aspect. And we were promised "new and exciting" cars. I see a few, but I want to be able to try more than a few in a game as revolutionary as this. Where is the Cadillac CTS-V with its 556hp LSA? That is a truly magnificent car that deserves to the in GT5. Where is the Ford Mustang GT with the new 5.0? I mean, they got the new Challenger and the new Camaro? Wouldn't it make sense to include the new Mustang to simulate what all the magazines are doing in real life? I can keep going with these examples.
