Some French stores are going to sell the game starting tomorrow?
 
epic it is but not as much as kaz creation, i was watching today some videos on gt tv, and is surreal how much Mr Kaz from PD cares about cars and about his art.
he really enjoy releasing GT product.

who makes Forza? do they have a president as involve as Kaz
 
People in this country have no taste though. It's all Saxos with the England flag sticking out from the roof and a drooling moron in the driving seat going "OO OO OO!" pumping his fist in the air with the smell of Stella Artois emanating from his armpits. Then he goes home and plays a football game.

No, its really is still terrible. This is worse and more annoying than today's pop music. It's like something a preteen girl would get excited over listening to. The lyrics are absolutely terrible and make no sense whatsoever.

Furthermore, all other tracks used for past GT intro's have aged fairly well - Lenny Kravitz on GT3 isn't my favorite track, but when I hear the song today I don't take it as a joke. When I hear this MCR song playing anywhere, I'll just be forced to laugh because of how bad it is. I think PD will even regret choosing this song a few years down the road. Really, I'd prefer ANYTHING but this song.

Therefore, My first two priorities when I secure a retail copy of GT5 will be:

1) Disable the intro so I won't be forced to listen to MCR's garbage.
2) Disable that song from the in-game playlist.

I hope you don't think Stella Artois sucks. Everything else you mentioned does, though.

Turn 10. And I do not think any one at Turn 10 is an actual race car driver. They are car and race enthusiasts. Forza was actually inspired mainly by Gran Turismo. Essentially, they wanted to create a GT like sim for the 360, and they did so. However, Turn10 has not forsaken it's inspiration. When GT4 was released, Turn10 encouraged it's readers and gamers to go out and buy GT4. If you look at the Turn10 studios on Wednesday, I'm sure you'll see a couple people still working on Forza, but most people there will be playing GT5.
 
That MCR song is so incredibly bad....
 
Guys I am at work and can't do it but can somebody post a link to the youtube clip of the Jaguar CX-75 it is amazing and we must beg PD to make one for GT5!

They undoubtedly will, and I would also suggest that PD had a good look at FM themselves to see if they could take anything from that. For either company to ignore the success of the other would be stupid. And what it all adds upto is better games for us 👍

Going by the development diaries, they did have a lot of input from professional race drivers though. They took the game down to race tracks and had drivers check it out, compare it to the cars they drive etc. I think they did pretty well to be honest, it's definitely not as bad as some people on this forum wish it was but it's also not as good as GT :)
 
It is the first time that i listen the song of the intro and i like it...not so much like the GT5 Prologue (epic song and intro and i still listen and see the intro when i put the game)...
This song does not sound that bad and i believe that they made a good mix with the intro and car engine sound with the intro (we know how it is the intro but it is in bad quality)...
I don´t have any reason to hate that song.
The game is epic in all ways for me...and my G27 is waiting to play it too.

i thought they were supposed to be a rock/emo band? But the 'welcome to the black parade' album was quite good

Right, and while getting input from race car drivers is good, it's still not the same thing as being a race car driver yourself. That's what makes GT unique. Not only is Kaz a car enthusiast, he is a race car driver and he's is trying to capture the feeling he gets while he's behind the wheel. I mean, after the 24 Hour Nurburgring race, he came back to the studio and instantly went to work making changes to the game's physics.

Forza is a great game, but I think they could benefit greatly from having a race car driver in charge of physics and from having more space to work with. Even a Dual layer DVD doesn't come anywhere close to the massiveness that is GT. I would LOVE to see what T10 would do with the space of a blue-ray.
 
I wish they would have put a Family Force 5 song in the into, but that's just me. LOL!!! The video of the song Country Gentlemen has The General Lee Dodge Charger racing a Impreza STI.

To me they look to be about the same size. I was @ G.S. and saw the display, which i did pick up and hold. They really look so close in size.
