Turn 10. And I do not think any one at Turn 10 is an actual race car driver. They are car and race enthusiasts. Forza was actually inspired mainly by Gran Turismo. Essentially, they wanted to create a GT like sim for the 360, and they did so. However, Turn10 has not forsaken it's inspiration. When GT4 was released, Turn10 encouraged it's readers and gamers to go out and buy GT4. If you look at the Turn10 studios on Wednesday, I'm sure you'll see a couple people still working on Forza, but most people there will be playing GT5.

i don't want to start a flame war here, and shouldn't talk about forza.

I totally agree with the above, and think its great other people are building similar games on different systems. the more the better. However. i was literally horrified at what going on/showed at e3 with the kinect. They are literally reducing a decent game, about cars, to rubbish. Surely T10 themselves know this, with all the effort and lengths to making their sim, is reduced to waving your arms in the head. they know as much as anyone, the feedback you get back in racing games is one of the biggest factors. The thing is, i would like to think that maybe T10 were themselves horrified at the idea, and there was massive arm twisting by MSOFT. If GT was reduced to this, i would be really sad.

As for Gt, I'm really looking forward to see what they have to offer in its online mode. Its one of the game biggest selling points, and most talked about, yet hardly revealed feature.

I had that same feeling, it's like christmas come early, although I am getting the game as my birthday present.......which was back in July :dopey:

Oh, and that intro song is terrible, sounds like something they would have used on Eye Pet or some similar childish game, not Gran Turismo. Should have stuck with Moon over the Castle if you ask me. Although that has never made it onto a UK version of GT either

Seems like a stupid crime. Yeah, two 53-foot long trucks are going to stand out quite well and with the detailed discriptions, shouldn't take too long to find them. I'm impressed that the trucks didn't care GPS trackers. Neither, apparently, did their cargo. Although, the PS3s should be able to be tracked. I seriously doubt $1million dollars worth of goods is going to be missing for long.
 
To the dutch/European readers , can you guys play GT5P PSN download ? It doesn't work. I get an error that they are doing maintenance or something.

I know, this song really sucks, especially for a GT intro. 👎 I know they're experimenting with different styles, but it's leaning more towards Jimmy Eat World or Rock N' Roll Soldiers. The crappy songs of GT4. They should've took a hint from 30 seconds to mars instead. :ouch:

I'm betting there are a view copies of GT in that truck. I checked on CL and there was one post GT5 full game $60 but the author has deleted the post...hmmm.....

That would suck.:indiff: However, I guarantee GT fans are driving up and down keeping their eyes open for those trucks.:sly: It'll turn up eventually...I hope.

Yeah, PSN is under maintenance right now, so you won't be able to use PSN for a few hours now.

News reports can be hidden or misleading sometimes. It says he returned to his truck at 6:45pm.

The question is:

Were the keys in the truck while he was in the bathroom?
What was the truck driver doing before he left his truck?
Was the truck still running and that the driver just had to pick up something quickly?

It takes a bit of time to steal a truck, so it depends what he was doing really.

Bathroom? It says they were parked on Monday and returned to on Wednesday. It was probably a licensed truck stop for a driver change or something.

I suspect it's Mr. Toretto and his street racing goonies up to no good again. Gotta get my supra ready and need parts imported from japan hahaha

yeah some stores in Paris will have it tomorrow (Micromania stores)
And in my little town, it will be saturday morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just saw the seller this afternoon and he confirmed it!

You know why? It's just because specialised stores have enough that some of the major outlets do not respect release dates. In my country, Auchan [one of the biggest supermarket outlet company], sold the last Assassin's Creed before the release date. And then, "little" specialized stores were upset of that and decided to scr*w them up by selling GT5 wayyyyy before the release date!

I'm so happy dudes! :sly:

Mr Toretto has a lot of 10 sec car's in GT5 in the back of those truck's
