Looks fine, sounds fine, what the 🤬 are you talking about?

It's my opinion, I'm a Veyron lover, so, that's what it think... Maybe it's the 🤬 quality this vid has... I don't know, I'll wait till this Nov 24th to have the game on my hands.

I preordered it online...Looking at the status of the order, before it said something like "preorder ships 11/4" and now it just says backordered. I don't know what that really means. Does it mean that the shipment is going to be delayed, or does it just mean it's not available right now.

My friend preordered CE few weeks ago and his status says backordered also..

Did a quick google search..some reported that backordered, in green letters, means nothing bad...

whatever. this is a waste of time panicking and thinking about random stuff. almost like when my first GF dumped me.

hmmm...backordered would mean it's coming in later

oh agony...

I did not see any problems either. It even sports an animated spoiler.

I'm very confused. How did he get a 1:21??? That's way too fast. That car got a 1:19 when the stig drove it and he didn't crash 10 times.

It's not confusing at all. Depending on the tires he used, it is possible to beat world records. There's also none of the fear factor in a video game, so it's totally different from real life. I'm sure there's tons of people on the GTPSP who broke the official GTR record on Nurburgring of 7:29:08. Here's a video of a guy doing 6:46 with GTR on Nurburgring.

Proof:

Oh...and the SpecV was slower than the original GTR...go figure.

Also, the new anti-skid(or whatever it is called) assist could be on.

Beginner option (with easier physics ie. skid recovery) and perhaps R tires. And he's hitting 100 kmh at the starting line instead of launching off a standing start as Sting does.

Wait is the bugatti a standard car?

I thought they would have surely made it premium, but whatever, if it was, then I truly didn't notice in the video.

Looks good!

As long as the air brake works, which it does, so it's all good in my eyes. I seriously wouldn't bother with the Veyron too much as it's a fat cow that can only turn at 80ish km/h...anything more and you slam straight into a wall.

douche , should have read above ;)

Here's the vid that all the Veyron lovers wanted to see... It's dissapointing... :guilty: Has a really bad quality... We cannot see reflections, shadows, etc, and the engine sound is horrible... Could it be due to be a standard car? At least the wing goes up by itself...

disappointing? I think its rather impressive after all the doom and gloom (and apparent suicides) over the standard cars :) as for reflections, maybe theres nothing to reflect around the track hehe

Yay!!! All the Best Buys in my area list Gran Turismo 5 in stock now. If only they'd go ahead and let me pick-up my pre-order.

The sting you say? :sly:

It's still as fast as the Gumpert and Koenigsegg on the Top Gear Test Track.

My cousin works at Target. I'm trying to pry a copy out of him

He crashed a bunch of times! I guarantee I'll beat the stigs time on the hardest setting by 5 seconds if the game's anything like that. That lap was really bad, no offense to whoever did it. He braked for corners that weren't even there (before hammerhead and 2nd to last corner) and he still got a 1:21. I hope that video isn't representative of the game i'll be playing in a week.

I don't mean to sound like I'm bragging, I'm just very surprised that was the time he got.

Oh no, the Top Gear track is a rolling start track?? Every time from Top Gear is from a standing start. That makes me sad. :indiff:

Maybe they're trying to cover up the fact the car times in the game won't correlate to the ones on the show properly :scared:

GT5 on sale today France Gamestop shops.

Would definitely be nice if you could select a rolling or standing start in practice.

I can confirm that as I work at one, they came to my store on wednesday nights truck, and have an orange label ( :( ) that says GTFO until 11/24/2010....

the prima track guide might be available now, if you ask to grab it from the back, as it doesn't have the orange release freeze tag, but the stores will have them on the floor at opening on the 22nd....

I saw the collectors editions and the game itself as well at Best Buy, so Best Buy pre-order people... YOUr WAIT IS ALMOST OVER!!!!!!! :sly:

the key is now to make them feel a little guilty they didn't do a midnight release.... :scared: just don't hurt me peoples....

It is the game you will be playing next week, not gonna lie and say that video isn't from the final build. As for his time, it's because it was a rolling start. He didn't start from the line. So that let him gain a few seconds.

Your right, it's Stig. I'm hoping you've noticed a mistake in this one as well ;)

You know you can stop and re-launch at the start line.

How did you pull that off? I really want to try this at a U.S. GameStop.

You're (:sly:)right, it's Stig. I'm hoping you've noticed a mistake in this one as well ;)

You know you can stop and re-launch at the start line.

Also I think the only reason it is a rolling start is because it is a time trial..
