so is there no penalties for stores that release games early?? all those french stores putting copies on shelves seems hardly fair on those who havto wait?

I do not understand why Sony allowed France to sell the game earlier ..... did Sarkozy paid Sony some million Euro or something?:grumpy:

I wish i could find a UK retailer to sell the game early ... No luck yet

whats really unfair is how all the retailers who respect the released date essentially get screwed because their customers will spend their money where the game is made available pre-release.

*insert something negative about the french*

Or it is possible that the french legislation does not have fines for this infrigement, because there probably isn't a contract between publishers and retrailers
 
Glad both the SE and DK Playstation sites are back on Nov 24th. I've looked at every swedish retailer I can think of and they have 24th as well. :D

£15 as a foot passenger! but it depends weather you could get it in Calais or
Cité de l'Europe otherwise it would be a drive into Paris. Are you realy that desperate to have it !! :)

My thehut order now says 'awaiting despatch'. A few minutes ago it still said 'awaiting stock pick'.

It's almost on its way :D

All the copies I have seen in France (at internet retailers) are French/Dutch covers, I guess in game you can choose English, please let it be so. So all those copies that arrived in Marseille are probably in a distribution center in Paris to be shipped to Belgium/Holland, then distributed there.

Btw my French Amazon preorder is still stuck somewhere too, probably since I did not take the standard version.

People wont be having it untile next week monday or tuesday because thats for online purchases only. Need to wait shipping and postal offices dont work on weekends here..

They have not actually shipped the games. They just seem to be dispatched already because they have so many orders to go through. All orders will be sent at the same time, on monday.

im actually going on an almost 2 hour road trip to get GT5 tonight or tomorrow!

I just went to a big toy store here in Belgium and they've put out a message written on paper:

Dear customur, Gran Turismo 5 is delayed until December. We don't know the exact date yet.

Mediamarkt said they haven't received the stock yet and they doubt it will be next week..

What's going on here, is this only in Belgium?

Some stores have that notice on already since the delay was announced at the end of October. The people at the shop are probably not even aware that the new release date was announced

Just played the Playstation house GT5 Demo at the Manchester Arndale center. Nothing new, fairly interesting damage in those demo's though, but hey, GT5's out on wednesday! who cares! :dopey:
 
Apprenetly HMV are posting GT5 to people today... True or not, I don't know.

Heads up People from Austria ! There is a shop in Eisenstadt (Burgenland) that sells GT5 right now !

My friend just gave me a call, he snatched 3 copies and is on the way to our Hometown. Oh yeah, 2 hours of work, 1 hour of driving home. This weekend is GT5 time ! :)

I might be able to answer some questions later. I will try my G27 and will see what's working and what's not.
Sorry I have no video camera, but I can do photos with my stupid Apple-Phone (so don't except quality).
