ok, US retailers need to slip as well. If Europe is playing GT5 this weekend.... lets have some equality. Sony needs to official announce that the game is available "NOW"
 
Got dangit! This is just not fair. I wish Amazon would ship out GT5 now. As big a retailer as Amazon is, I know they've had to have received some shipments by now. You guys over yonder are sooo lucky.

When did that happen ? My preorder at amazon fr is still scheduled to be shipped on the 24th (Collector's Edition though).

edit: I answered my own question. They are only shipping standard editions tomorrow.

It's not automatic, it's an offer if you chose 'Eclair' mode of delivery and when I posted my message there was only 30 minutes left for this offer, I guess you can change your delivery mode if you already have ordered. I can't because my location is not eligible apparently (Corsica).

Edit: Ok you see it, it's for standard only. Only 5 minutes left at the time I write this post.
Edit #2: Release date is set to 19th for GT5 standard edition on Amazon France now. Looks like either they simply don't bother with the official 24th release date, or they had a green light from Sony.

I wish everybody would release at the sametime :grumpy: It's pretty annoying France are getting it today, not to mention it got leaked in Czech Republic ages ago.

So the whole of France will be selling the game 4 days early. Isn't someone gonna get in trouble for this? Or better yet, will it spread to the rest of the world? :dopey:

Not whole Europe will be playing GT5 before the weekend. In Holland shops will receive GT5 on Tuesday afternoon I think. Most times games get in the day before release. Hope I can get my copy Monday or Tuesday when it arrives at my local store.
 
I think the french government are fed up with all the strikes, and just thought. yep, just get this out asap. we can't take any more of it. So the moral of the story is. If countries regulary go on strike you may get GT5 early.👍

Apparently (at least for Micromania), the retailers have a agreement with Sony !

Does someone know any store in Montréal which will break the street date (with or without Sony's approval) ? :)

Anyone else in the USA going to hunt the game down this weekend? I for one plan on hitting a few wal marts in my area to see if one of them is "accidentally" selling the game. :D

I plan on going hunting today. Let me find somebody who selling it early, GS losing 1 GT5 preorder.
