Oh my God

did any of you try the online modus?

Its so difficult to get into a game, every server is just completely overloaded...

But i did get into couple of lobbies, and so far it seems like a really awesome online modus!! cant wait for organized GTP Events.

I suggest that we all get used to the game until 1st dec. and start doing GTP lobbies from 1st december on.... gives everyone enough time to familiarize with the tracks, cars, and physics

What you guys think?

Im using Fanatec Carrera, the clutch seems to engage half way, great work PD

....Now to that Science homework..... what am I gonna tell my teacher?

I can't even connect to servers anymore.
Massive overload.

Great news! we have hood view! (Unless the SLS AMG has a grill on its roof :sly:) Whether it is cockpit eye-level, Im not sure, but it is pretty good.

Ahhh what are you basing that on? Gameplay video, or a reply of a race? BecAuse according to people who have the game there is no hood view.

Yeah ive seen vids of people just random drifting in parts of it, doing donuts, there seems to be an area with some cones that looks pretty wide open to do whatever you want.

Yer I've seen some of the footage, but can you drive to the end of the runway and back?
Ive seen a vid where someone turned in for the second to last corner (the high speed one) and he hit an invisible barrier, basically you can't run on to the grass!!
 
Amar : on the g25 you need to press the triangle to engage the clutch??
Because on the Fanatec it is on all the times
(i have both so just checking?)

Yes, it would be the best for all.
One question: (when you can) try on track if it happens the same as in Prologue ...i mean if the cars disappear or moving strange on track...this is one of the things that i hate from Prologue. Not full real races because of this issue.
I hope they fixed it.

I think i'm going to wait at least 3 months before i go online.

I like to be completely comfortable with every track and my favorite cars before i go online.
 
Hope I'm the first to post this, but here's some new GT5 videos on ign. Just for those of us who are still waiting for their copy.
 
To delete or keep Prologue? (8gb of space), I think it's fair to assume that only PSP can transfer cars to GT5, unless I have missed something.
 
I just put the disc in my PS3 and installed the update. Then I get a confirmation which says "Accessing game data. Please do not switch off the system while the HDD indicator is flashing." There is a flashing "OK" icon which does not respond when I confirm and the HDD indicator is not flashing at all.

Is this normal? :sick:

yes, its cause the gt5 game automatically connects to the GT5 server's and they are just overloaded... so just sign out of PSN or disconnect the ps3 from the internet. and you'll be fine 👍

I don´t know but when something happens confirm if it was bad or good.
Edit: nothing...my comment doesn´t exist...

I just signed out but that didn't make the OK button respond. It's like it's totally stuck and it says that I must not switch off. Are you sure this screen has anything to do with the servers?

I haven't even seen the game install yet. I have not even seen an intro yet. :indiff:

He said in his last video that he will make a video of online racing if and when he can get into one.

If the HDD light isn't flashing I would personally turn it off. But it's your PS3.

Ok I just did that and restarted the game. Same screen appears and it does not respond when I confirm. I'm not even logged in to PSN. Why does it do this?
 
Just bought my Ps3/GT5 bundle at the freerecordshop in Belgium.
Was expecting the CE in the box but it was just the standard edition.

Oh well.... :)
