the comparison between the two is like night and day. One elicits emotion and the other makes you cringe although to be honest Planetary Go has grown on me but if you could choose why wouldn't you opt for the tear jerker?

God that was beautiful, especially the last 10-15 seconds where you hear all the engine sounds - THE F10!!! - and fireworks going off at the end of SS7...that was an experience itself

seriously PD, WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Well, Norwegian shops are selling it today, one day early. Got my copy on the way home from work.

One issue.

It did the download first, then prompted for the install. It estimated 20 minutes, so I went to pick up the kids and such. Came back, and it said 'installing', 3 seconds remaining. Seems frozen. It's stood like that at least 5 minutes, since I checked it. Will report further.

Maybe we should have a tech support subforum?

Sorted itself out. Just let it simmer for a while. Starting the game now! :-D

I am really amazed, played it for 4 hours now and it really pays off for all the waiting. One issue though, the interior cam on some vehicles are very very low, cant even see the road, especially on the SLS, anyone who knows if this can be adjusted? Tried to adjust to narrow and narrower, but it just gets worse, hopeless to drive with interior cam like this

Great news! we have hood view! (Unless the SLS AMG has a grill on its roof :sly:) Whether it is cockpit eye-level, Im not sure, but it is pretty good.

Just checked with my local Best Buy. Once again they won't sell it to me until tomorrow. Boooo.

Don't give up. They told me that they would sell it to me at midnight, but I am going out in a little while and will stop by and ask again! :)

Oh it's 11:00 a.m. hehe

I got a DFGT today for GT5 but only managed to test it with Prologue for now. I've never used a wheel before for games. I prefer it to a controller, specially using the pedals but the wheel and force feedback feels abit clunky. I know it supports 900 degrees and that feels ok and smooth when the wheel is turned off but when the wheel is on its feels stiff (specially in the menus is that normal?), prologue doesn't support 900 anyway but the general steering feels stiff and the feedback feels clunky and doesn't feel realistic to me. I've changed a couple of the settings and I'll post them below so feel free to recommend I change anything or if I've missed something. Thanks

Steering Settings:
Steering Type - Simulation
Power-Assisten Steering - On
Feedback Strengh - 3

Driving options:
Active Steering - Off
Driving Physics - Professional
Active Stability Control - On
Traction Control - Off
-
Active Steering - Off
Active Stability Management - On

GT5 owners, does the GFGT work better on GT5 than prologue?

The japanese intro is so much better.. Oh well, at least we're getting the same game!

@ 5:30 my eyes are full of water. Really emotional... Moon Over the Castle just brings us so many memories... Really AWESOME. Shame, shame on the MCR version. not bad, but this is SO MUCH more epic.

And to my fellow portuguese friends, please permit me some foreign words:

Parabéns pelo GT5! Mal posso esperar para colocar minhas mãos na versão Portuguesa! Aproveitem! Abs dos amigos do Brasil! :)

Ummm huh? I got one this weekend and it sure does support 900 degrees for me in GT5P! The Eiger Nordwand track became WAY easier because of this :D

How do you get to settings to adjust the amount of force feedback though? Don't think I've seen those settings when playing with the wheel this weekend...

For the best feelings...Active stability control - off---feedback strengh at least in 5 or more depends on the wheel...for G25 and 27 more than 5 always.
And Active Stability management - off
Try.
👍

Go to settings (full right in menu) and when you saw the wheels you´ll see it or the next option.👍

Hmm...I thought GT5P sync'ed its clock with your system's clock automatically. I don't quite remember the details to be honest.

It is automatic. Yes in both.👍
