Sorry if i am posting this in the wrong place, all i can think about right now is getting the game tomorrow, at long last!! (after all it is the only reason i wanted a ps 3 in the first place lol) I just wanted to know if it will be possible to take your garage with you to use in split screen mode on another ps3. I spent a lot of time on GT4 hammering split screen with my memory card on the ps2 and was really hoping that I will be able to take my own pre set up cars to someone elses house to pit against each other. This wastn possible in gt5p, or at least not with the person i played against as he has the downlodaded version and i had the disk format.
Cheers for any info that anyone can give. Roll on tomorrow - shame my postman never normally arrives until around 14:00 ish - D'oh.

wonder if it has anything to do with that twitter post they were talking about..something about making us really excited...I wonder what it is
 
OMG that photo mode is AMAZING. It's my favorite feature so far. I'm 3 hours into the game. First impressions are kinda mixed. Great driving, bad sounds for standart low-powered cars, jaggies and sometimes confusing and slow interface.

P.S. Be prepared for the install time.

Mine says 6 hours left.How close are you to midnight?The main countdown clock is counting down to midnight at which time GT5 will officially launch.

it's definitely not to launch because the countdown's going to end somewhere around 9...shouldn't it launch at midnight?
 
A few minutes ago I had the official GT5 box in my hands. I am in Barcelona for a training and FNAC shop had it!
I also tried the demo but.. who cares ... we are going to have the real thing in hours!
 
So what's with this new downloadable update? What is it for??

This is so sad. Here in Brazil no news about official realease date... i won't care to pay a little more to have the game faster. But import it will take too much time in the shopto.net.

The way is wait 1-2 weeks until the game arrive at the hands of the people who see it "on the black market" to get it... long days, long days.
 
i believe it's officially released now......in Guam!
 
Please confirm that to me - there are no online time trial rankings ?

Iknow about search option and I use it every time I can but this time I would probably get to much, irrelevant results...

Well my fellow brazillian friend.

There's some stores here in São Paulo talking about tomorrow or the end of the week to bring us the game.

A friend of mine bought it by preorder, in the Sony Style brazillian site and it will deliver it by Friday. Only to the lucky ones that could buy it on the short pre-order period. (It was like only 2 days!) crap.

Today the Kanye West album, tomorrow GT5, what a week for media! And GT5 has custom soundtracks, so I'll certainly be racing tomorrow with "Monster" blaring in the background!

Saw the Sony Style site and it says: "Lançamento em Breve", "Realease soon".
Not too much information about realease date. T__T
 
Now have I received a sms that my copy of GT5 is in the post office and will come tomorrow. I AM HYPE!!
