Got the game. Got an FC. Something is weird with the interior... The RPM gauge revs up only to 4k? :indiff:
 
Is here anywhere a online section? Can´t find it and have some online specific questions.
Like:
Are there only private lobbys?

When I entered a lobby everyone was driving the same car and it appears in my garage (didn´t own it in the past)
 
It feels great coming down a hill as your leaving a corner. What happened to roof cam? And how do I change my date and time settings?
 
There's some things which could improve this quickly...

Sorting out the online - this should settle after the first day madness anyway happens with all big games
Giving the paint shop a simple RGB option and unlimited painting, this paint ticket system is rubbish

That's all I want so far! Haha, really happy with everything else. I think all GT fans can be happy with something in this game.

On the XMB go to settings, there is a time and date settings there, then just set it to use the internet for time and date.
 
Finally!! My copy of GT5 was delivered. I am now installing and about to hop in the shower while it installs....Anyways, I've been thinking. What Sony should do is hire some of the guys from Turn 10. At least the ones that work on online and customization type of stuff ya know. I think if given the chance, some of the Turn 10 guys would gladly work for PD, seeing as GT is what inspired them to create Forza. That and their own drive and creativity.

I think that it would be an almost perfect game if PD just had more talent in certain areas. Sony needs to let them hire more people so they can create more Premium cars at a time also. Can't wait to play GT5. see you guys online!

you can't, it says after you've chosen your suit it cannot be changed..it asked you very clearly, "Are you sure" this is the suit you want because you will not be able to change later on

Maybe the Stig's suit will become available later on after you finish so and so event


Anyways I have a question for some of you CE buyers...is anyone else missing a steering wheel in their 1/43 v-spec GTR kyosho model? Mine doesn't have a steering wheel just the paddles..O.o
 
How's this for bad luck! Game wouldn't send my SE early, so went and brought a standard copy at midnight, 20 minutes into playing, my PS3 blew up (red light of doom), couldnt get it to work, so just had to fork out £200 for a new PS3, so all in all its cost me £365 to play this game, not to mention the cost of repairing my old PS3. Its a cruel world!

Does anyone know how to sign up for the SLS competition, I can't figure it out for the life of me?

I called up this morning to check if they had my pre-order in. Yep, we have a copy of Collectors Edition for you. But I just ordered the standard. Because its a pre-order we've got Collectors Edition for you at the same price, $77. I'll take that then.

Its in my hands. I have to finally believe it, because it is in my hands.

Starting install now, then off on a bike ride, where I expect to take the corners faster than usual. Go Harvey, go Harvey, go Harvey Norman GO!!!
 
Don't know if this has been posted yet (probably so), but you can use the GameStop Nascar car in the beginners league...which is kinda lame...

the game is incredible, standard cars graphics suck but the sound and the physics are just amazing. turn all the driving ads off and it feels like a dream that i waited for a few years :)

The only time we heard about that was on a slide of things Kaz would like to have in GT5, way over a year ago.




BTW, Can anybody race online? Mine just comes up with zero races. FML.

My tracking says 'November 24, 2010 01:43:00 PM Miami FL US Delivery attempted'. Someone is always there don't see why it wasn't delivered.
 
Dropped the kids of at school and picked up my pre-order CE on the way home.

Installing now after a short conversation with the wife, here's how it went.

Me: Dragging wheel setup in front of TV.
Wife: What are you doing.
Me: I've got a new game i'm going to play.
Wife: Is that the one you've been waiting years for?
Me: Yep.
Wife: You're going to glued to that seat all day arn't you.
Me: Yep.
Wife: Do you want me to go to the chemist to get you a catheter so you don't have to get up?
Me: That's not a bad idea.
Wife: What about one of them hats you can hold a drink in with straws.
Me: Now you're thinking.
Wife: I'm going out to see a friend.
Me: OK babe love you, see you later.

Got to say it feels really natural. Also loving the course 'generator' I know you cant recreate your favourite track, but i just mate a couple and thought the out come was pretty cool.
