Dropped the kids of at school and picked up my pre-order CE on the way home.

Installing now after a short conversation with the wife, here's how it went.

Me: Dragging wheel setup in front of TV.
Wife: What are you doing.
Me: I've got a new game i'm going to play.
Wife: Is that the one you've been waiting years for?
Me: Yep.
Wife: You're going to glued to that seat all day arn't you.
Me: Yep.
Wife: Do you want me to go to the chemist to get you a catheter so you don't have to get up?
Me: That's not a bad idea.
Wife: What about one of them hats you can hold a drink in with straws.
Me: Now you're thinking.
Wife: I'm going out to see a friend.
Me: OK babe love you, see you later.

My conversation went.

Her: Is that your new game?
Me: Yes, sure is.
Her: NERD! (then she procedes to walk out the door)

yea, think thats going to be the case all across the globe for the next week or so. I'm currently trying to workout how i can get out of going to Dorset in SW England this weekend to visit friends with the misses, any bright ideas?

yep. and when adding prize cars to the garage, must have been 2 minutes. felt that long anyway!

It works especially well if you have a long drive, "Honey, we are going to have to stop every 5min, you go yourself. I wont make it"

I can't find if/where this is discussed: I am on an endless loop where I can't do anything until I buy a car. The catch is I can't buy a car until I am a level 1. Well, hth do I get to lvl 1???

All I've been able to do is arcade.

You can buy a car at level 0,i did.

Hi guys,
For those that have the game, what does the disc art look like? I thought it was supposed to be a big wheel but my disk art is same as the cover art...the Merc gullwing.

So far, the game is running fine and I've been able to download updates and play arcade mode. If it's fake, whoever did this did a good job!

You really want to go, but a good friend of yours is going through a tough time and you need to be there for him

Or you can do license tests they raise your level
 
I just wanted to jump in and say.. all the crap I've given the standard cars.. all the bellyaching about glitchy graphics.. well, while I'm still trying to come to terms with the small things that are wrong with GT5 I HAVE to say there is a big smile on my face right now because after I get past my nit-picks the driving model in this game is A-W-E-S-O-M-E! They really nailed it. I was so used to the old GT4 model where even in super powerful cars it never felt like I could push them, like you'd see Jeremy doing on the Top Gear track. Now it finally feels like I'm driving a powerful machine and I can push the pedal down and go sideways through a corner if I really want. This is fabulous! I love it! :dopey:

So PD may have stumbled a bit with some things but my gosh I really think they just hit the driving physics out of the park!! 👍👍👍
 
What is the HD footprint for this again, once downloaded? Although I only got my PS3 recently it's a 120Gb model, only downside of getting it as a freebie in a new phone plan :)

The 90's model RX7 sounds brilliant after the same treatment.

I'm also impressed by the turbo/supercharger sounds now.
 
Can i buy some usable Premium car with the start money? I can't drive without the cockpit view..

The 80's Supra sounds so nice with the Race Exhaust...I can hear the exhaust vibrate...

Sometimes I just want to stop and rev it to listen....but I have to race :scared:

I put the first stage turbo on my Civic right before I went back to work, I'm off in a half hour then I get to see how much more wonderful it sounds. :D

The Mazda Enos and Honda Civic EK Type-R are popular starting cars. I think you can also buy the Honda CR-Z
