Why does the old Dodge Challenger have 400+ HP but tops out at around 112 mph? :( Someone please help, thanks.

Is that speed achieved at max gear and rpm? Then the gearbox is very close. If not damage in engine may have happened. Try a rebuild.

I have a question...my friend bought the standard edition of GT5 but now he wants the CE so will he's progress in the game continue or he will have to start all over again?!

Pretty sure he can continue and will not have to start over.
 
Just unlocked Nürburgring Nordschleife after intermediate AMG challenge-bit dissapointed you can't drive at night (without rain) in Arcade. Do you unlock another night track (without rain) later? If so, has anyone unlocked it? Cheers
 
I was trying to unlock the "no money trophy" but I have only 45 cr left and I cannot get rid of it, I want to get rid of this trophy now as its easier then do it later in the game when you're loaded with cash.
 
Does anyone know where i might find a complete car list with the power of each car? This part isn't completed in the GTP guide yet. It's tragic but I can't actually read the power of the used cars on my old TV! Or a list which links to a pic of each car with the spec on the screen would work :)

It shows the power, weight, premium or standard, country of origin, etc... etc...

Hi everybody I want to know what can I do to improve my 3000gt braking. Im pleased the way it handles also it has 642bhp but the braking isnt so good, so any ideas?

I always thought this seemed an interesting challenge, though I guess it's like playing pontoon or darts, it is sometimes impossible to get down to 0 unless you make some money again.

I guess it's best to remember that used cars are often odd prices, and I think selling cars probably gets you an odd price back. Premium cars will be more round amounts, as will tunings etc. And things like car wash and oil changes will knock off smaller round amounts.

No brake upgrades, you can adjust that brake balance, but better tyres and stiffer suspension should make a difference.
 
Tires are about the only thing that will help your braking. That or some aero stuff for downforce.

Stiffer suspension will also help to keep the car level, which helps braking. I'd go with the height adjustable one, it's 4500. Lower it as far as you can and then stiffen up the spring rates about 4 ticks to compensate.

Yes thank you I never thought about the used cars and their odd selling numbers. I'll have to keep an eye out for it. I want to get rid of this trophy quickly as I want to make some big money. Thanks 👍

Need to know if I should tune up that little prize Vitz a little or just get a more powerful Vitz or Yaris for that beginner race, I can only make Bronze, seem to mostly be going backwards :)

Actually I see your point there, much better to figure that one out earlier on, as the tendency is to amass more and more credits as you progress. Good thinking!

May be a question of technique and weight too. A big heavy car like the 3000GT isn't going to stop too easily once you get a good head of steam. GT5 seems to very good at capturing the difference between a track star like the Elise or Exige and a sled like the Challenger...

Try selling some cheap cars too, if you can spare them. They do come out at odd amounts, per previous games.

Just noticed that if you win a standard car, you should treat it as used, and still benefits from an oil change. You would think the dealer does that first :)

Has anyone tried some of the more advanced GT Auto options such as overhaul engine, restore rigidity etc? What kind of effect do those have?

Yeah is heavy as hell but i like it so the next thing im going to do is lower the weight

I´m playing F1 2010 at my cousin's home with my DFGT until my GT5 arrives, it is really good, better than i expected.

Tap R1 and GT5 will zoom in during menu screens on SD sets

How the hell do I get a truck for the truck race in the Amateur tier of A-Spec? There are NONE in the dealership and I haven't seen any rotated into the Used Cars.

Do some races in pro mode you win a dodge ram from one of the events
(it needs tuning to win the truck races though) or ad me on psn SCUD77 you can Borrow mine.

The actual game is unchanged - you get the exact same blu ray disk either with regular or CE. The packaging and everything is the same, however the CE naturally has the card for 5 downloadable chrome level vehicles, which are nice as you'll have a decent garage from the get go.

Lol. I had some fun with some buddies and other people driving the karts on the Nordschleife a couple of rounds. Amazing! But crashing is bad through nearly all lobbies. Forza 3 isnt that bad online.
