Why, why would you even think about comparing that game? Microschaft cannot compare and it disgraces us that you even mention this stuff on the GT5 thread đź‘Ž :grumpy:

Another dumb ass PD classic, why the hell must I play an whole championship without saving? I got not all day to drive hours... Just started the LV. 15 or 16 championship where every race took 10 mins.
After the 2nd. race I had enough and want to leave and then get the message that I must quit the championship and it will be reseted? c´mon... Then I played the next 3 races totaly dissapointed and angry... Got to work tomorrow got not all day to play...

I bet we can´t save in the long distance races
 
Man, having a way to section of my garage would be brilliant.

Cars for myself to drive, cars for B-Spec drivers, reward cars I wont race and the like.

Anyone who's playing GT5 with a DS3 might as well send their copy back to the store because the challenges will literally kill you, however jumping over huge chunks of grass seems to help (^_^)

By the way does anyone know how to change the time?

Look what FM3 players get in 2 weeks... I bet we´ll get an DLC with 9 japanese and 1 other car after 1 year... Sorry, still dissapointed with the cars in GT5...

What good are all those cars if you can only race against 7 of them at a time?
 
Hey guys im finally back after a few weeks due to my laptop charger breaking.

I got GT5 on release and couldn't be happier with it :) i'm spending nearly all my spare time playing it. I love everything about it and it's even made me aniticipating what GT6 will have to offer!

Those where not criticisms, they were half as*** comparisons.

It's like saying the Prius is better than a 458 because it can carry more passengers and has better mileage.
 
Still can't get off the Forza debate? Come on now, this is a GT forum. I'm looking forward to getting my copy. (No I haven't purchased it yet, I have a child who needs diapers!)
 
Im wondering how much longer this thread can go on? 3478+ pages and only 1% is news about the game before it came out.

We can say the game should be better, but that doesn´t mean its a bad game.

Have fun playing. And enjoy it until you need to buy a PD formula car that is never around in the used car lot...

My 895bhp mclaren f1 is good to kiil time and B-spec Bob seems to like it. đź‘Ť
 
OK, I have seen the option for One Make Races, but is there a way to select One Class Races. I have now seen the demo that begins a the start screen showing the Super GT class racing on Indianapolis Road Course & Tsukuba Circuit several times, these tracks are not part of the Super Car Events. The reason would be to run a select class on other tracks and even custom tracks beyond what career mode is giving me.

What occurs with One Make Races is you select say Jeff Gordon's car, then your head up against 11 other Gordon cars.

I believe you need all the cars you want in the race in your own garage and you select those as being the only cars allowed.

The time keeps popping up saying it's wrong? Same here, took me a minute to figure it out. Check your time settings for the PS3 and make sure it's set to Standard Time. Since Daylight Savings is over til Spring. I did this and sure enough back an hour and you're good to go.đź‘Ť
 
Am trying to find a truck for the sports truck race but there isn't any in the dealership and whenever I try the used cars there is none there also.
Have i got to do something to unlock them in the dealership first?

You have to wait, and keep looking.
Finish all the races in that level, it should show up then.
If not, win a race in the next level, then look in the used cars

One of the license tests gives you a Ram.

Keep on looking. The first one I saw was a Toyota Tundra but didn't buy it since I didn't need it yet. Later on I found a Ford Lightning and bought that.

I've seen quite a few on Ebay, with international shipping. I too was thinking about picking up a copy.

Go to arcade mode and select "single race," this will set up a racewith cars in similar class to the oneyou select. I did a race using the blue super gt Nissan gtr and it had a field of 16 super gt cars.

That's strange cause Kaz said he would be implimenting it in a patch so there isn't supposed to be any at present :odd:

I'm almost positive that on the begainner Mercedes Challenge, the last race. Full lap of Nurburgring. It's a white car, maybe a Honda. It sounds like it's having engine problems. I think it's the 3rd or 4th car you will pass. Anyone else notice this? I had the volume up abit.
 
I highly dislike the Cote D' Azur race in the Historic Racing Car Cup Challenge. That 2J Race Car beats me by atleast 15 seconds and I don't crash. I'ma pour a gallon of sugar in dude's gas tank.:grumpy:

Bro, learn the car. Watch your driving line, it must be super wide so your steering input is minimal, much like F1 cars but more powerful and less forgiving.

Throttle input in cornering is extremely minimal to non-existant, and input on exiting the corner must be done progressively and smoothly. gluck.
