Lol, ok. I just know some people seem to get murdered for small miss-understandings on this forum. That's why i hide in the shadows as a lurker. :sly:
 
Would you listen to gtplanet podcast? I listen podcasts and one talking about driving games would be nice.

Yes there is ISR but those guys did not not give forza enough critisism on steering buffer and tyre model. Also generally it seems a bit like those guys won't speak their mind openly, maybe advertising has some control?

Also in latest wheel review they said they think the 7000 was the best wheel out there but something says to me that they do not even like over g27 or fanatec. Also there was not mention or critisism that 2700$ wheel does not even work with PS3. Or just putting it trought the review scale, why not?

Forza is nice but gets boring very fast! I´ve played it 1-2 months but now my xbox is turned off since 1 month...

The career mode is so boring... You can´t play online without paying money... And without the wheel it´s 10% of the fun...

You can´t even compare your hotlaps without an xbox gold account! FTW??
 
There are things i like about Forza but some things destroy the whole game. I like the damage and the physics, splitscreen and the livery creater are both nice features and so is having unlocked nearly all the cars at the start of the game (although that does take away some re-playability). But the career mode is terrible. You have very little freedom in what you want to do and the unlock system for upgrades is rubbish.

The "Steering Buffer" makes using 900 degrees almost comical.

Thankfully, this sort of thing shouldn't be a problem with GT5, if GT5:P or the TT Demo is anything to go by.

Because of it you hardly see a steering wheel rotating in cockpit view on high speed.And that's why it rotates good on low speed.Steering wheel in Forza3 *directly* representing how front wheels of car moving.Knowing that you can clearly see what "steering buffer" do.And compare it to input.

I was thinking the same thing. In a legit race, then you see The Drift King just flying down a straight weaving through everyone. xD

Haha! Thanks for posting the vid, that just made my day! Obviously only people with too much time (and oil) are able to practise these kind of activities, in real life of course. This with decent collision physics in GT5.. What a mayhem! Should we ask Kaz to implement rag doll physics too in the game? :D
 
1 thing for sure, I'm not going to do much driving on that Tokyo track in GT5 :D
 
I'm sure if E3 provides a demo, it'll provide a "new" track instead of Tokyo. Probably American. Perhaps Laguna Seca Raceway under rainy conditions (with tons of chances to show off the new damage system). That's my prediction.
