I'm sure if E3 provides a demo, it'll provide a "new" track instead of Tokyo. Probably American. Perhaps Laguna Seca Raceway under rainy conditions (with tons of chances to show off the new damage system). That's my prediction.

And i'm guessing one of a NASCAR track, and some cars getting totaled!

I would guess like the E3 '09 video it will feature several tracks.

You also forgot about the car backing up(with reverse lights) in the dark, while honking the horn.

...and pealing out, leaving MASSIVE skid marks.....:D

The trailer for E3 2010 should show everything [in comparison to E3 2009 which showed a lot, but not all features of GT5]: This may include many tracks, cars, weather (if it's in) night racing, more damage, liveries (if it's in)....

....but I was referring to a specific track in the demo itself. Much like Tokyo Route 246 @TGS 2009.

If there is a demo, as in for us to download, it will be one we have already seen. Either Nurburgring or tokyo.

Agreed, but again, I am referring to a demo only available for play at the E3 show. I am not referring to a demo that we can download.

But yes, if we find out there is a demo to be seen available at the PSN store, it would be Tokyo Route 246 or The Ring for sure, (in my opinion and yours).

The real problem with "hiring a driver" is that virtual driver just can't drive in high-class races and wothout assists - in order to get serious money - and after the race you have to give "him" more than 40% of overall credits for his "services".

It solves nothing. But nevermind, the point remians.

You can get 86,000 credits an hour by hiring a driver at the Nurburgring using the Dyson R1 car, without any assists. Given that many get 90k every 20 minutes by grinding themselves, driving round in circles on the Benchmark track, it's pretty good.

Somebody on NeoGaf calculated you'd need to invest more than 80 hours of playtime in order to get enough funds to buy all 10 cars only from the first DLC - only from the first one, 10 cars - and that is just plain lunatic.

Yes this seems about right if you earn 90k an hour in general play. It would take 80/90 races/hours to get the 7.2 million required for that first DLC with the hire method I suggested.

The latest DLC total car value is 3-4 million. And hiring a driver 2/3 races a few days a week plus playing 5 hours a week can easily get 4 million in 2 weeks, which is casual play time.

I do agree it's crazy. To play properly, even at a high level, it's a huge grind.

GT5P old credit system to buy 1 typical supercar would take about 1 hour of play and the newer credit system is 30 minutes, taken at a leisurely pace, I can earn more myself but I'm sighting a reasonable average. Forza 3 takes 3/4 hours to buy 1 supercar. You can cut it down to 1-2 hours in Forza 3 but the methods will send you crazy after a short time. And people thought the old prologue credit system was a grindfest.

The problem with that is that by that time, you're probably given up on the grindfest and won't bother with the DLC.
I'm glad that I only play FM3 on my non XBL 360. If I played it on the other one, I might start hating the game.

OMG..When you turned the whell to the left The car is still turning to the right haha..I think The car has mental problems

It's one reason of many I got rid of Forza 3..👎

Forza is nice but gets boring very fast! I´ve played it 1-2 months but now my xbox is turned off since 1 month...

The career mode is so boring... You can´t play online without paying money... And without the wheel it´s 10% of the fun...

You can´t even compare your hotlaps without an xbox gold account! FTW??
That's not Forza's fault when it comes to online. Like Atari, I'm sure Turn10 would let you race for free online if they could. But, MS's Xbox Live is the mandatory online system that all developers have to use if they want to go online with their games. It's annoying for some, but if you have a large gaming library, $60 to play every & any game online is a deal for others.

I feel bad for what i said, I love Forza 3 such a great game to help pass the time by for GT5 :). Just got done having a fantastic race lol.

I like Forza3, however i can't stand Dan Greenawalt, what a lying cocky douche bag i mean come on Forza3 is Forza2 with an IROC-Z a couple of new crappy tracks and no custom public lobbies. God i can't wait for GT5. I'm so sick and tired of these GT knock offs. I can't wait to see Kaz slap Dan and Che in the Face with sales just to shut them up with there arrogant BS.

On topic, I can't wait for E3 :). It's going to be live!

LOL, What?

All true...
and all completely overshadowed by the biggest problem...
The steering buffer.
;)

No doubt about that Delphic, it is the greatest problem of the game, but I simply do not highlight it because it always leads to flamewars.

However, I presume they had to do it just because there is no true force feedback hardware / software in the very X360 console, so there is no way they could pull-off what they needed in order to make it work.

I guess you're familiar with all HID/XID controller issue and all I really hope is that NextBox will finally have HID controllers onboard.

Until than, every good racing game on Xbox - and there are many, you can even drive Project Gotham 3 (not 4 unfortunately) as a simulation, if you drive it as a grip, not drift - will suffer because Microsoft wanted to save few dollars in cost of the console and deliberately sacrificed one of it's greatest franchises without any logical reason.

If X360 had HID controller Forzas 2 and 3 would support normal force feedback wheels and I guess we'd had another great driving franchise in every mean imanigable, because you can see and feel from FM3's physiscs that true potential is realy there, just waiting to be unleashed.

Lack of HID contrller was the main reason why I sticked to MS FF wheel and never bought Fanatec 911, because no wheel - no matter how good it is - can't solve the simple fact of missing piece of hardware.

👍

I had very serios doubts what will happen with the Forza's 3 force feedback support about the year ago, when Fanatec premiered 911 Turbo S. It lead me to write down an small explanation of the issue on Neogaf in order to try to find the answer from NG's vibrant community. Sadly, it took us less than a month after the FM3's release to find out all the fears were with the reason. If anyone's intrested, check this thread:

GT5 will be part of LBP2... a game for make games! You will see ;)

Just to throw another quick tomato at Forza, there are other issues that point to a haphazard simulation of reality. You can flat out mess up the tuning deliberately, such as raising the car's suspension all the way with no apparent penalties. And then there's the AWD "destroys all" mod. What vexes me to my last nerve is how badly the 360 handles large file lists, like photo and decal libraries, and how it mucks up your pics when transferring them to the Forza site. I do still like Forza 3, kind of, and the physics are nice, but the things I want to do in it are crippled by some of the most horrible flaws, stuff which would get a GT game laughed off the dance floor.

And Live... I'm baffled why some of you think it's God's gift to gamers at a mere $whatever a year. Just so you can actually have the privilege to get on line and listen to foul mouthed teenagers razz you?

I know how much many of us love to sift through all of Gran Turismo's flaws, like the slippery slope of Daytona's high bank. But then, take a Lancia Stratus in Toca 3 and park it on a slope, and watch it slide down it like it's in snow or sleet. It does seem that many other games get a lot of free passes. Perhaps loud engine noises cover a multitude of sins or something. ;)

Just mute em.

It's still 1080p, the p stands for "progressive", it's just not "FullHD", which is the PR description for 1920x1080 pixels progressive.
If you need a further explanation, Google. ;)

The "P" in "1080p" stands for "Progressive Scan," and since the game does progressive scan at 1080 horizontal lines, it's considered 1080p.

If someone tries to tel you it's NOT 1080p, ignore them. Though the game (gt5p) isn't FULL 1080p. The word full in front means 1920x1080 progressive scan. Since gt5p runs at 1280x1080 it's 1080p, but not full 1080p (also known as "full hd").

But yeah, regardless GT5 is one of the best looking games I have ever seen. So it won't disappoint.

I sure am glad I'm posting here more often. You guys are pretty well educated/informed here.

I'm hoping for more screenshots of GT5 with the Viper...

Seems like Crysis will be the winner... Voted for GT5 even if it will bring nothing.

No doubt man i play Forza3 a lot to hold me over till GT5, but i always find my self coming back to GT5P The physics in Forza3 really bug me sometimes. Imo i feel the cars are way to easy to drive. one day i was watching a show about the Carrera GT. They were saying how careful you had to be with the throttle while driving because the car had so much power and response. So I'm thinking to myself damn let me play Forza and try this out. I take the Porsche on the Mountain pass and driving the car was as easy as taking candy from a baby!

That poll is good to know the hype about other games from "the outside world"

What do you mean with "the outside world"? Is there such a thing? Are there people on this planet who actually prefer or anticipate other games than GT5?
How on earth is this even possible? What is the world coming to?;)
