Just for reference, that doesn't mean it's in - we don't know anything's in until we see it in the game. Just that PD asked Aston for one to model.

Remember GT4 and the Ruf Turbo R? Search this site if you don't...

Where is the first pic from?
They're both the same corner at Tsukuba, the first one is real life and the second one is Forza 2, they've replaced the GT banner with a standard Tsukuba one.

That's why I wrote "would love to see it...". ;)

That is ABSOLUTELY right. Nothing is promised until it's on a GT5 disk sitting on a store shelf. Doesn't matter if it's in an interview, or a screenshot or a trailer. They've taken stuff away from all of those in the past.

Sure gives me a little hope to hear the news though. Love that car.

wrong thread!!!!,,,

“New features of the game include a tyre grip penalty which temporarily reduces grip if you go off the track and onto the grass or into the gravel. It takes around three to four corners to retain full grip again. Drivers will also feel like they are in the hot seat when they crash into a guard rail and sparks fly.”

Is this the death of noob racing online (or at least a deterrent?)

^^ I'm not sure if it has been cleared up but: Will the game feature the infamous rubber-band AI?

No my friend, private rooms will be the end of all things noob :)

Either way, I think the time penalties might have been removed. Of course I don't know for sure, but it makes sense to have a real-life penalty; one that is actual and true to racing instead of a penalty which reminds you that you are playing a video game (a time-out penalty, restricting your speed).

Since Aston Martin logos are on te new pics it's clear that soony has the licence for it (IMO)
No, it's not. The Maserati logo appears on the Tokyo track, but in GT PSP, it's clear not one car is actually in the game.

Forza 3 looks worse and worse every day I see it... Whenever I play it at my mates house 'I enjoy the game' but I'm always gagging to get home and drink in GT5 Prologue...

Cant wait for E3... like REALLY CANT WAIT! I just hope there is some GT news that makes us all stare in awe! But what I'm really looking forward to is the opening of one Top Gear episode in the near future when Jeremy Clarkson will say "On tonights Top Gear, I take on the Stig on our track in the new Ferrari 458 while staying at home in my PJs"

Is it penalty or Realism?
It s a good decision to remove Time limit penalties. They were so annoying in GT5 prologue..No more Unacceptable penalties!

But it doesn't mean that Sony/PD do not have the rights to have them in(just their choice).

One way of making it more "real" would be to reduce the credit-bonus you receive at the end of an online-race, for every penalty a certain amount will be deducted.
Don't know how damage will be implied, but if you have to pay for damage there could also be an amount of credits deducted and added to the player or players which cars you ruined ( although this might be too much ).

I want drive-through pit stop penalties 👍

Seeing as they have been able to implement this in GT4, I imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to put into GT5.

Wow I wonder that there are still no infos about the new GT5 demo. No vids and screens?

The owner of an german PS3 blog is at the ring, I just wrote him to make some vids and screens, let´s hope he does...

I got this feeling, we get this game soon :) Fall seems to be possible :)

Fall Probable :)

Winter maybe :grumpy:

But, I'm sure the people at the show are just preoccupied.
