World wide release date, the rest is gravey!
Siskel and Ebert give that:👍👍
Maybe you should use critics that aren't dead and pretty much dead.

Is it penalty or Realism?
It s a good decision to remove Time limit penalties. They were so annoying in GT5 prologue..No more Unacceptable penalties!
You forgot one major improvement over the prologue: field of viewPic from Mototrend article
The good - sky is no longer burnt out
bad - still way too dark
It's like you need to drive with the lights on all the time....

Is it a penalty or realism? Thats the beautiful thing, it's both.
So now theres the same sort of deterrant to going off the track as there is in real life. That and damage mean more than ever before, people are forced to race clean.
Now one thing I would like to know, does it effect the individual tires? If I clip the grass with say my right left do I get really poor grip on that corner of the car, or does it only effect you if you put all 4 tires off the track?
You forgot one major improvement over the prologue: field of view(maybe adjustable?).
IT was already in GT5 prologue optipons menu.
It's just for SD tv's. I can't modify that...No its screen adjustment zoom in or zoom out.It helps field of view,,
I'm not quite sure what is too dark. Inside the car? Or do you mean the second monitor? If so, keep in mind that LCD monitors like HDTVs often have a wonky image from the side. My former Bravia had a wide field of view, like nearly 180! But my new LG has a much narrower viewfield, so to get the best image, you pretty much need to be sitting in front of the screen.Pic from Mototrend article

Definitely! 👍 This is exactly what I'm looking forward to, a game so realistic, you can do a car review with it. Then, take it to an online track and run round it with your friends.Cant wait for E3... like REALLY CANT WAIT! I just hope there is some GT news that makes us all stare in awe! But what I'm really looking forward to is the opening of one Top Gear episode in the near future when Jeremy Clarkson will say "On tonights Top Gear, I take on the Stig on our track in the new Ferrari 458 while staying at home in my PJs"![]()
You can't see underneath the gauges

dark, as it looks like it's night time inside, with the dash all lit up and the ceiling all black!
it isn't that dark in real life

IRL do you see the center of the wheel when looking forward?I don't like the new field of view =/. It's too much like Forza's granny seat.

The gauges on the dash are at the limit of your visual field.
IRL I can see my feet... I sure hope your FOV is more than the 75 degrees they give you in these games. In fact, the peripheral vision of a human is almost at 180 degrees... though of course a screen can't fill that whole view. I'd at least like to be able to see the whole rear view mirror...
