I'm probably on my own here but if they need more time then so be it.
I don't like the sound of them working till the last minute to get it out the door for a deadline.
If it needs a couple of months then so be it.

Where are you..........?

;) Seriously, I think they always worked like that and I can't see them wanting or even being allowed to not meet their deadline.
Even if somehow they cannot it will have something to do with unforeseen glitches, faults or other problems, not because the game as a concept isn't finished or them wanting to add new features.
If they do want to add, improve or patch certain things there's DLC.:)

Yes it's Tsukuba, thanks for clearing that up peeps.

I was in the same mindset two years ago... at this point if PD wants to be taken seriously and after all the build-up with different editions, etc, it looks like November 2nd is basically a sure thing.

Though, I'd find it utterly hilarious if there's any delays at all at this point, since it's been nearly a year since Kaz remarked it was "basically done".

Does anyone know the software they use to develop the game? Kind of cool to see some of it in that picture.

They use different pieces of software to develop the game. Maya appears to be the 3ds software for modeling (as see in photographs in the studio tours), but they probably use custom software for other parts such as their track editor. Simply more that one software.

Every game has the last minute crunch its nothing to worry about, I remember reading one developer blog (insomniacs perhaps?) which described that the last week up until the gold disc was printed everyone on the staff was pulling 20 hour days QA testing and so on. It had been like this for a decades worth of game releases and was presented as the industry norm as it were.

I sure wouldn't mind playing 20 hours straight just to test to see if i bottom out of the level or crash through a barrier.

Er yeah.....think there's more to it than simply doing that.

Sounds like fun. Oddly enough, I hope GT5 has some weird glitch. It gives us something really interesting to talk about.

The game itself is reason to talk. I don't want any glitches.

I want at least one out of map glitch on each track. It's really interesting to explore out of the track and see the modelling.

That gave me an idea! đź’ˇ

There was a glitch in GT4 where you could get out of the nurburgring. If we can do the same thing in GT5, we could take a NASCAR out of the map, then just like in GT4 drive it to the lowest part of the course, and fall back in to see truely just how much damage NASCARs can get! :dopey:👍

I suddenly have a massive need to find out how and go out of the nurburgring on GT4.

Move and 3D GT5

It's actually quite simple. Just take a Superbird and reverse into the pit exit. then immediately swerve right. then just keep reversing and you will go through.

LOL @ raining NASCARS.

Weather in GT5!!

Oh wow. Someone with way too much time on their hands and poor video editor skills shouldn't be trying to manipulate videos.:yuck:

Just a quick question in the most active part of the forum guise :)

Will my DFGT wheel I use in Prologue work in GT4 on the PS2?
