The number of competitors is probably based on the selected event. I mean, with 16 cars it could get pretty crowded on the smaller tracks! :scared:

16, there was footage with 16, not more, not less and 16 cars are also confirmed for online mode. And no, I will not look for the footage again, search a bit for E3 videos (not the showfloor demo).

Doesn't mean there won't be any races with less cars though.

My sentiments exactly.

I'm really sorry if this particular video has already been posted, dissected and discussed, but I haven't seen anyone point this out yet.

Remembering the "wind" that was once seen in an older Nurburgring demo, this video of the GP track version also seems to have a "wind effect" occurring.

At about 2:42, dust and dirt is being blown away from the car's front right, despite the car moving in almost the same direction, whereas further around the circuit at about 3:54, the dust clouds are being blown mostly from the rear left of the car.

Again, sorry if this is not new at all to anyone.

mmmmm,a lot of you,GTP'RS,drive me mad!!stop it with complaining about livery editor!come on,today we have a lot of features, karting, skidmarks, weather changing....and you still complaining about livery editor, damn!!However, the only thing that still worrying me is the engine sound but it's early and difficult to make judgement from this bad quality videos!!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

But yeah, a Livery Editor would have pushed GT5 to another galaxy of epicness. Maybe Kaz can still work a miracle, but if not, the epicness will still exceed every other game's epicness.

It wouldn't have surprised me, but it's been hard to keep up with all the new posts and comments flooding in throughout the day, especially when I'm supposed to be working, so I must have missed that somewhere. I imagined that after 6 hours online, people would have pounced on that video already :)

Yes, but playing spontaneously is difficult without a huge friends list.

A more open approach would be public lobbies, either password protected or led by a host that can ban unfair players.

I imagine these boards will solve this. I was wary of racing online prior to Prologue (did it years ago on the PC with just people I know), and there are a huge amount of terrible drivers in Prologue, but it's all random. Here, I imagine people will be creating rooms pretty regularly. I highly recommend you try it; driving with people you actually know, of similar skill level and considerate, is awesome.

What's the betting that only Premium cars will get a Race Mod Menu?

That's what I'm betting on, although I suppose technically it'd be far more time-efficient for them to make Race Mods out of Standards. But it'd be silly to invest more time in the dying tier.

I'm guessing people who don't play online like me and I'm sure there are more of us. Don't know why, but playing something online has never had any appeal to me.

I like racing online and have a good connection. There are two things I dislike about racing online. #1 people who ram you or shortcut and cars jumping around the track.

Already discussed to death, there will be 16 Premium cars at once, there is enough footage already.

Well that is good news. And if you said it that way to demean me so as to increase your own feelings of self worth, good for you.:)

Thats alot of epicness there! :P :sly:

A livery editor is way overrated.. it was cool back in Forza 2, but got old quick as hell in Forza3. One man can only take so much anime porn.

Fair point. But no auto enthusiast man can ever have enough vintage and/or modern liveries represented in a game ;).

Look at this picture it is a photo mode location but Mercedes is moving with a driver inside. Looks like he's going pretty fast (body roll) Ofcourse IMO.

Does this mean we can drive around in photo mode?!!!

New Japanese track ?

This is becoming way too much to handle... with so little confirmation...

i am doing an overload of speculations !

There's one of a Volvo in Switzerland that looks suspiciously like an advert'... Also, the one of the four cinquecentos is in Piazza del Campo, where the Kart race is held in the demo :odd:

The ones of the Miura are incredible. I hope the Mk I / II Ford GT is premium, considering it won more races than the Mk IV...
