Oh, most of us just look and enjoy! Gil Grissom over there could tell you what your mother was wearing when the picture was taken, though!
 
The debate was wether the 300SL showed body roll, based on purely visual evidence my opinion is that it does show body roll.

IT looks AMAZING no one is debating THAT.

i basically drew those line connecting the center points of each tires on the ground...

only three tires are needed... and from there you can compare the level of the car chassis ;)
 
I have talked to someone who has played the demo at gamescom today and he told me that he was driving a Ford Focus WRC on the Nurburgring and after a few crashes he noticed that the handling was pretty bad and the maximum speed on the straights sunk from 240 to about 150 km/h and at the end he wasn't even able to upshift to the 4. gear!

I didn't read anything about mechanical damage so far so I thought this might be new, because to me it was.
 
One thing I found amusing was that Ferrari P4 video where it was up against multiple XJ13's despite only one example ever being build.
I guess you must learn to pretend those are replicas.........:lol:

You sure could. Look at the Shelby 427 Cobra, thats easily the most replicated car in the world.

Thats what I always tell people. There were 5000 427 Cobras made and only 25000 are left in existence!:)
 
I bet every car we get as dlc is worth to buy! Everything looks fantastic!

I wonder what T10 is doing these days... Still thinking "the best looking game on any console"? As it was never be, I got FM3 and I got GT5P and GT5P looks miles better than FM3...

He is a judge for Pebble Beach and appears at many high end car shows... so I am guessing he met someone who knew someone who had the Jag.

Someone mentioned here today Kaz drove this car at the Goodwood Festival apparantly, not sure this is true or not but I guess it could explain he at least had access to it and maybe time afterwards or beforehand to scan and take photo's ( or his staff ).

And the Jaguar XJ13 is owned by Jaguar by the way.

Seeing as there hasn't been any replicas (at least I sure don't recall any), They must have model that actual car. I imagine it wasn't too hard to come across since it is in the hands of the Jaguar Daimler Trust Heritage Collection.

There are some XJ13 replicas around, although mostly specially ordered handbuild one-off creations ( or a very limited series ) using mostly genuine Jaguar-parts and they are extremely expensive.
 
While a lot of these new screens are utterly fantastic (the Jag's engine on full display, chasing the Ferrari and Ford), the hyper-close-ups of the Miura's details begs the question... was all this really necessary? Do we really need this level of detail?! Only reason I question is it I'm wondering if we'll be able to match Prologue's 16 cars on track without slowdown, since the current Premiums are roughly twice as resource-hogging as Prologue's models. If anybody can do it though, it's arguably PD.

I still want to see day/night transition, on La Sarthe, with 16 cars on track. Then I'll know PD have their priorities straight; we've only seen 2 cars handle a ToD transition so far! If this is going to be a Tsukuba Wet situation all over again... Kaz mentioned being able to run the whole Nurb 24H with a transition from day to night, it won't really represent the race at all if we're limited to 2, or even 8, cars on track.

However... so far we've got a fair amount of info in just the last 24 hours alone. A thanks to the GTP guys who are out there grabbing it all for us!
