Seeing as there hasn't been any replicas (at least I sure don't recall any),They must have model that actual car. I imagine it wasn't too hard to come across since it is in the hands of the Jaguar Daimler Trust Heritage Collection.

But as it turns out, there are some replicas so maybe they modeled the car using one.

While a lot of these new screens are utterly fantastic (the Jag's engine on full display, chasing the Ferrari and Ford), the hyper-close-ups of the Miura's details begs the question... was all this really necessary? Do we really need this level of detail?! Only reason I question is it I'm wondering if we'll be able to match Prologue's 16 cars on track without slowdown, since the current Premiums are roughly twice as resource-hogging as Prologue's models. If anybody can do it though, it's arguably PD.

We have seen 16 premium cars on track, but the question remains if we will have day/night transition on top of that.

In case you haven't seen or simply forgot about it, here is the footage of 16 premium cars on track at the same time.

Yes. I have no doubt that PD will get day/night cycles and weather working with 16 car grids without sacrificing too much visually.

I believe it's the reason we haven't seen weather (As in rain) yet, they're still getting the finishing touches right.
 
This is all well and good, but is there going to be a version of Moon Over the Castle in the game? That's the big question.
 
Don't worry, Slipsztream will always find something to raise and spoil everyone's fun just because it feeds him.

First he was so loud about Premiums, now he says "who needs them like this".

Than he wasted a week of his life posting alone only to beat the dead dog called "Standard won't have interior". And other dead dog called "Standard will look bad".

Almost 2 months after we all saw 16 Prem on track, he raises that again like E3 never happened. But now he adds night and rain, deliberately knowing that will be nice playground for further monologues. Like there are no logic that points out how at least Nurb and LeMans will be Premium tracks, with DN transitions and weather and 16 Prems ontrack, because obviusly evertything we saw in past 4 years shows the effort made to recreate as real as possible endurance races.

However, I have nothing against that all monologues and like because they amuse me. But I don't find them "positive criticizm" or "objective doubtfulism" but something else instead, however that is just me.

Now we've seen Karts and track-editor ( more or less ) being confirmed, anyone wants to guess about that stunt-arena also being promised?
Maybe it's being left for TGS ( or put on hold for GT6 perhaps... ) and I can't really get my head around what a stunt-arena within the context of GT actually implies but since I initially wasn't convinced by Karts and track-editor being included ( which luckily they did ) it may be as well.;)

Hi all, I've had a good read of most, if not all, of the posts from the last few days. All the news is amazing and has me more than excited about November 3rd.

One thing I've been curious about for a long time is what happens on the Top Gear test track at the apex of the figure of 8. Can we crash into cars coming the other way across the 'intersection'? That'd be mayhem, and perhaps not in the spirit of Gran Turismo. I'm interested to see how they've approached this. Not a big issue obviously, but interesting I think.

I haven't found a video experimenting with that yet, though I may have missed something. Anybody seen one?

I'm curious about that aswell. Though to be honest, there is no pit facilities, so I can't imagine any races more than 2-3 laps there anyway (If any at all. Maybe it'll be time trials only, like Complex String in GT3).

Him not being sure there are replicas and me assuring him there are somehow bothers you? So much crybaby drama here today and everyone seems to be having a mid-month dilemma.
Better double check that ignore list.
