It's all premiums isn't it?
No standards at GC at all I believe. Can't understand why.

I wanted to ask about some of the components in this image. Specifically, what do you think about the progress bars at the top? What do the numbers signify? What happens when the progress bars are filled?

Yes, Probably, next to the time it looks like there is a number, that could be your level.

no

the current car is a Focus, but the person happens to be in the Sub Modification / Part area... you just will / would not able to finalize the purchase because the current car does not match the "shop"... that's how it was before in previous GTs.

No, the Impreza is just an example. Just like the Toyota Supra was used as an example in earlier games.

I suppose that makes sense for B-spec, but A-spec too? Isn't that what licenses are for?
Maybe it's similar to the leveling system used in Forza 2 where the bar fills after each race, and you unlock new cars for purchase when you reach the next level?

Makes sense...
Still I wonder what the levels will do. (Maybe unlock more difficult races?)

That is probably showing that you're on a 12hr time system and not military.
The numbers next to Aspec and Bspec already show you your level

I think all cars will be unlocked from day one (except possible prize cars) and earning money is the key to obtaining them.

I certainly hope not. I've always loved the fact you can buy almost every car in the game from the start (If you saved up enough cash that is).

I do like the idea that in addition to the licenses you need to run a certain amount of races before you can run in the high-end events. But past GT games have already done that (i.e. complete 25% before unlocking Endurance races).

I first thought it meant number of cars, but then what is the bar for? :S

Wow opening up those 18 MP shots and zooming on the PS3 ,these pictures are stunning there is now way you can tell that is a game.

Well B-spec leveling probably unlocks more drivers and maybe more management options? Didn't Kaz say that you start with only one driver?

As far as A-spec mode...who knows?

I actually just had the thought that this game looks better than the real world. Seriously!

With the A/Bspec thing at the top with the numbers, maybe it is like a lvl'ing system where on the Bspec you unlock new drivers & stuff & on the Aspec one maybe it helps determine who you race on line when you randomly join races so everyones at the same skill level? I dont know just a guess.

All the footage is looking great! I'm actually rather interested in the Bspec mode now, I've played a number of games with the whole team managing concept built in but they've always been really crap & no point to them. Knowing Kaz he'll make it actually worthwhile & quite badass!

Talking of things looking like real life, I actually thought this was a picture taken of F1 from 2007 for a moment untill I saw the GT logo & stuff.

I know people say that as a joke but honestly the amount of detail ,all games look alot worse when you zoom in and start to see the low polys and textures but the more you zoom in GT5 the more you get mindblown I can't think of the words of how great they look.I have never thought a game can actually do this but my word what a game what a phenominal game.

Well, I liked the system used in Forza; it meant that you couldn't just grind the same race for hours and buy a Le Mans car right off the bat. I guess, as with all things GT, we'll just have to wait and see...:nervous:

I've always hated Monza in GT Legends. But for some strange reason, I can't wait to drive on Monza in GT5. Why is that? Also, is there a video with the Fiat 500F? One of my favorite cars.

where did you get the pic from? Any more of them?

My first one of eleven, nothing special, the quality is still work in progres says youtube, anyway what's interesting about this version of the track is that the trees at the end of the long straight look kinda 3D, but they look really poorly modeled, it just looks bad.

How was the draft? It looks toned way down

It IS toned down quite a bit, I have a video showing this very well, you will be suprised how different it is right now.
And Earth, the ford is up in 40 minutes.
