It IS toned down quite a bit, I have a video showing this very well, you will be suprised how different it is right now.
And Earth, the ford is up in 40 minutes.

Hmmmm, finally the Ford. <3
Thanks in advance!

Is there any confirmation that we can use Bob like we could in GT4 where as we could interchange during endurance races?

You're welcome mate. And...erhm..I think you were the one asking for Jag-video footage right? I have that too.

Thank you for that, looking forward seeing both.👍

What I am curious about is since Kaz said there is no livery editor whats the deal with the stealth cars having blank number plates? If there is no editor are they always going to be blank? I doubt it because all the cars on the track would be the same.

I have a feeling there will be a decal system like some Japanese drift games, which is not the same as a full livery system.

They modeled the WELDS on the Kart tube frame. How much more detailed can we go from here?! lol

I'm wondering what's powering the Citroen GT in this latest build? Is it electric motors or an american V8 like they later planned on using?

Has anyone seen a gamescon video with th Citroen GT driven in it?

Check the behaviour of the dust at the start, it's different once again

@ 0:26 Improved AI 👍 :) What happened to the sparks?

There is a bit of sparks towards the end when he skims the wall at 1:04, but it's much less now, and may be dynamic

Those are the four themes, the four locations where you can have tracks created.

;)

Only 2 locations shown there, Toscana dirt/tarmac, Belgian High Fens gravel/tarmac?
So probably another 2 with 2 variations. I can't see why they wouldn't have a Japanese mountain road theme?!

Maybe they will sell a Theme pack DLC on the PSN

I'm pretty sure they are dynamic, that was one of the things I noticed while playing.

EDIT: OH MY...upload failed...I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT!

It's starting to hit me....

4 locations - two variations for each: dirt and tarmac.

:D that's sounds like a strong possibility.

Come to think about it, we might be able to have tracks create with both surface at the same time... one section tarmac, another section dirt....

Just like with the Tahiti tracks in previous GT ;)

Yes there was a video, I believe it in the gamescom topic, the GT was changing gears all the way to 6th so its the new motor. I wont be surprised if they have both the original electric one and the v8 for us to try out.

$30 000 for a strut brace?! My wife is going to kill me!

I saw that as well.

Maybe it's just used as a symbol for rigidity improvement, unlike the hood it isn't referred to as a strut brace specifically.

Ding Ding Ding! In GT4 the symbol for the "rigidity refresh" was just a cycle emblem, and 50,000. This is the same concept, different symbol, less money.

Yea, I bet those bars are your A-spec and B-spec levels. When the bar fills up you move to the next level. So, that user is on the verge or reaching 13 in A-spec. Almost like a continuation of A-spec points from GT4. Also, the events will no longer be based on percentage complete, but current A-spec/B-spec level.

By the way, what is the box in the bottom right referring to? "Owned: 8"? I can think of a couple possibilities, but nothing seems to make 100% sense.

Well i will try to move on about the small amount of cars with interior view, well anyway not all cars has good looking cockpit and interiors , most are the same. I just hope that the 200 cars( I hope it increase a bit ) will be worth it, and not will be eaten up by most Rally, nascar, and karting cars in numbers. Well i hope it is still possible for a future DLC for cockpit.

We already know 150+ of the 200. You can look at the list on page 198 and see for yourself what makes up the list. The other 50, we have to wait for.

One thing i have noticed is that in the 200 premium models or at least the 153 we know about, there are no duplicates. So we probably could get like 250 premium cars if every version of the Evo's, Skyline's and Impreza's is featured as a Premium car. The R34 alone is good for about 8 versions

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. Seems like an odd place to display the quantity of anything you own. Maybe you can apply the upgrade to multiple cars at once?

Seeing more variance in the AI - That Black/red Motul seems rather aggressive in personality, nudges the player and then wobbles down the track and nudges another AI car :)

Sorry, it's just that what you said about the "30,000 strut bars" was said by a few others and they were dead serious.

They aren't deleted since that was the original source we got them from.

They did get deleted from this website news. I saw them on my Facebook. Then I went to check them out yesterday and it said the page you are looking for is no longer available.

I found this interesting post at the Playstation Blog by Chris Miranda:

"my mouth is watering… and let me just say that car fanatics will LOVE this game, and not just kids or people who generally like cars and racing."

… or kids who are fans of creating your own course, or kart racing, or watching online-races (live), or (insert more features that we still have not announced).

Bring on TGS :sly:
