So, asphalt is skidmarkable, but grass and gravel aren't???
Sense, this doesn't make any.
Also, has anyone been able to record sounds through a cable in the end??

I remember there's this image of a PD staff (woman) modeling an engine. Lemme see if I could find it.

Yeah that was during a TGS 2009 studio tour for the Ferrari 330 P4, it's not a full engine though (compared to the model in the menu), just what you can see through the engine cover.

Wou will play best racing game ever made. But you r still complaining about minor things..There is no other racing game has alot of content like GT5. Will you expect birds bears or sharks in Monaco next time?

Me driving on pro-physics, no drving aids and soft slick tyres.

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray on Nordschleife

Thanks heaps, I've been waiting ages for someone to post cockpit view racing in a classic muscle car! (They were at E3 as well even!). Although I'd also like to see how bonnet view looks in more cars, as that's the view I'll be using most thanks to standard cars.

We did have monkeys on that rally track I can't remember the name of :dunce: <- me

Surprising not to see any birds flying around at the Nurburgring with there being so many trees, clearly GT5 is an epic fail and KY has much work left to do to make it a real driving sim. :dunce:

I will say this though... The tire options shown (hard / med / soft) for comfort / sport / slick covers most of the bases, but I am curious to know whether there'll also be a spiked / chain snow option.

Nope, we'll be racing in the snow on slicks!

Seriously, what do you think? Especially given we had snow tyres in GT4.

Probably the Jaguar. There is another pic

We also had super soft tyres in GT4, no sight if them.

I think that there is a lot, lot more to be revealed about GT5 at TGS and that this is something that will be revealed. I'm serious!

Probably the Jaguar

Yep looks to be the Jags, they were obviously working on them the same time then. :)

Just noticed in the exhaust picture it says "Draw out the power of your engine and tune your exhaust sound..." :D

Don't forget the FT-86 had a full engine too

Not me driving Lamborghini Miura on Nürburgring GP Course.

... and grid / paddock girls? :sly:

I think we might be pushing our luck there! :)

Now thinking about it, all the spectators in GT5P were male. Never mind AI, slipstreams and lack of standard car cockpits - the big question is will the spectator issue be fixed for GT5?

That would be quite realistic, not sure if they truly would implement such extremely realistic damage, but yes, it would be awesome.

It's true about the older cars, I remember Gan-San driving on the old Fuji for the last time ina Hakosuka GT-R, mentioning how today's sports tires have wayy to much grip for the older cars which need a more "Flexible" tire, he probably mean a tire that has a lower breaking point, so the car becomes more agile without feeling stiff and is able to oversteer despite having relatively low power.

What spectator issue? They can all stay home for all I care. In fact, I wish the stands were almost completely empty.

None of the AI drivers I've yet seen has a female name.

Just sayin'.

My eight one, of the nine
I think this vid is actually pretty cool, great car, new track and you can see the new, improved drafting physics, which are not so exaggerated as in GT4, or 5:Prologue.

EDIT: The last vid will be up in the next 24 hours, as I already tried to upload it 2 times for 8 hours (it's big-13.03 mins) and youtube failed to upload it. Maybe more luck next time and if not I'll try to upload it from another computer. This video is my favourite one, you will see a lot of particle effects, skidmarks and physics-insanes lol.

We used to run Yokohama track day tyres in our series. Using the standard suspension set-up you'd find bits braking or bending all the time. Not only that but with full cages fitted too, the car shells would start tearing apart at the seems. Cars of that age just weren't designed to have the level of grip that modern slicks or semi-slicks now provide. The constant and progressive drift that those older Dunlop and Pirelli tyres give is so much more fun than grip-grip-grip-no grip!-crash/spin that you get with modern tyres anyway ;)

I think there is a limit to video lengths of ten minutes for some accounts - maybe you should check that?

Haha! It does sound like more fun. I certainly enjoy games depicting the older series than I do GTR, for example, for that very reason - I mean, the non-telegraphed snap of death from modern slicks. :scared:

And I'm pretty sure it was Gan-San who "told" me about the whole tyre grip thing, too (it was that Hakosuka video, and one where they slapped slicks on an NSX-R for giggles).

Here is my 4th Video !!
