I thought aerodynamics must be in GT Auto and the rest of parts are in the specific car brand part like GT4, but that screens are in GTAuto, so maybe all parts are in GT Auto in this initeration.
 
Will the exhausts actually change if you fit them to a stock car?
 
So guys, girls, with GC now thawing out, the next big day is TGS, which is atually not that far away, i think its 16th of September is when it due to start.

i should imagine tgs will be the end of the begining. the last big showcase before release, at home, something big , or a mega influx of car information/track infro should be revealed.

what do you think will be shown- weather system? online mode explored? a bit more a/b spec modes? a reduced livery mode? (ala grid?)

Brakes will be in as has always been the case.

Aerodynamics ties in with the body upgrades/customisation that PD mentioned at an interview (I think it was the IGN E3 2009 interview, but not sure).

I would imagine it also ties in with the race modification menu that they mentioned at Gamescom.

Kaz did say in an interview that body customisation would affect aerodynamics, but they've kept it really quiet, they're holding it back. We might see it at TGS, or we might have to wait for the game.

It'll outsell all the other PS3 games at the show anyway, so it doesn't matter.
 
I think that the list that I put above is the IGN.COM one!!IGN you are so arrogant and stupid to put NFS over GT5!!

Sabine Schmitz, Katherine Legge and Michele Mouton are spinning in their respective BMWs and Audis.

Could the male ego be the sole reason why female drivers have been excluded from most if not all driving\racing games???? Can we not stand to be beaten even virtually by a woman??

Can it be? Are we this ego-maniacal? Sabine has proven she knows the ring and can drive better than most men (especially Clarkson, whos driving style she made fun of)

Michele Mouton lost (2nd) the 1982 World Championship to Walter Rohl ONLY because of mechanical failures, her driving was always top notch stuff.

She also was and is the first and only woman to win a round of WRC and win the Pikes Peak Hillclimb, she also participated in the 1975 LeMans 24h with an all-female team!

And she still competes (at nearly 60 and still beautiful!), she will be in Morocco in September for the Rally International du Maroc in a Porsche 911 2.7 RS.

In the 80's she looked likea model driving these brutish loud dirty Group B monsters.

Have you seen the Harry Potter Kinect demo at the EA conference?
That thing is pathetic, it didn't even recognize half of the moves the two guys on stage made and the game was on-rails because you have no possibility to give it a "walk" input.

Kinect is seriously flawed as a concept. It seems to be more useful as an educational tool than a game input device. Did you see the Forza 4 demo at E3? (I mean the part where they used it to drive, not look around - that bit was ok)

It was hilarious.

"The Fiat 500 is actually a small sportscar" ( not my opinion, but the opinion of a certain gentleman named Gordon Murray who created arguably the best supercar ever, the McLaren F1, and ownes several Fiat's 500 ).

That would be impossible frankly as the Abarth 1000 is based on the Fiat 600, the Abarth 695 is based on the 500.;)
 
NFS Hot Pursuit voted best car game at E3, didnt they see GT5 or was there no racing fans from the press. Must have been guys that feel if it cant go 200km/h around a corner, then it aint a good car game.

Bit harsh, maybe they were looking for something that was fun, and not quite as hardcore as GT,
Just becasue its car based does not imply it has to be a hardcore sim racer,
If they genuinely had more fun with NFS(and by all accounts its presence was better displayed too) then their gonna vote for NFS.
Don't forget, alot of the great new features for GT werent useable.
