I didnt see this statement. I still dont think they will remove Switch A-B during races. it was in GT4. it will be in GT5 for sure.

Kaz noted that the B Spec mode wasn't fleshed out in GT4. So that's could be a reason why they didn't restrict when you could use it. This time they've treated the B Spec mode with the same care that they treated the A Spec mode. The fact that the GT Life menu lists what appears to be progress bars for each as separate would suggest that you can't use B Spec whenever you're having difficulty with a certain race race in A Spec.

Think I finally figured out what Sebastian Vettel was doing in that E3 trailer, the poor sod was probably used to gather data for the emotions and anger issues those B-spec monkeys are meant to display......

I still think A Spec and B Spec is all going to be in the GT career mode. B Specing whatever race you want, as well as having the chance to A Spec it as well. I just hope the credits are the same at the end of every race, for quicker cash

Yes it's GT5 discussion but it's a topic that should be contained in its own thread. Makes sense to me, why doesn't it make sense to you?
 
All I see is guys proving post after post on who is right and who is wrong. Im glad Jordan deleted many of them.

Anyways, I cant find Pics of the Track Editor on the News page.. Where did they go?

If Greenawalt hadn't made that pathetic, desparate speech about Kaz having apparently "handed the baton over to him," Forza would have been considered to be nothing but another, second-rate arcade driving game by an overwhelming proportion of racing fans. No one would think about making comparisons with Gran Turismo for a second.

Yeah I think all that BS worked against them in the end. But Kaz also said once that he did not consider Forza as sim and he is competing with GT4 instead. Trying to make better GT game :lol:

I've never played a Forza game ( not intentional, just never happened although I'm curious to at least experience what it's really like ) and never intend to buy an X-Box myself as I've only got money for one console and plan on sticking by Sony for now.
But I hope Forza 4 will blow GT5 out of the water, why? Simply because it will then raise the bar for PD and make GT6 hopefully even better for us PS3 owners.
Competition breeds excellence, even when not directly competing for the same market.

That might be good thing. If Forza even tries to compete with GT other than more BS from Turn10 about how epic next Forza game is going to be. GT will have to raise the level even more in GT6. However, I am not sure if it is even possible for them to make these great premium cars of GT5, proper physics and all other features GT5 has. I think it is beyond their reach. But competition is good thing.

I think GT6 will release in 2-3yrs with more premium cars, tweaked physics. Improved damage, weather effects and other feedback from fans and so on ... It will just be a superior version GT5 :eek:

On a sidenote: Those blisters killed Midnight Club as a franchise after the medicore MC:LA. Think about that.

I'll be very happy to repeat it a 1000 times: After playing GT5, it should be absolutely clear to anybody why it took so long. It is that good.

Wont make GT5's release by a long shot, maybe GT5 DLC or GT6.

GT6 for sure, possibly for GT5 but I doubt it. If it is in GT5 there's one more premium car to look forward to.

Perhaps as DLC. The Miura prototype won the 2008 award.

After going through all previous editions of the GT series, I've tired of the gameplay... start with nothing, build up etc etc... unless this is drastically different I don't think I have the energy for it... heck I know I don't have the time for it any longer...

I just wanna set up my cockpit, dust off the DFP, invite some friends round, and compete for fastest lap at different tracks with different cars...

hopefully we can look forward for more premium cars in DLC in repeated intervals! that will be great. i need more cars with "interior" view ;)

I'm sure there will be. I wonder though if you'll ever get the itch to get into the career though..
