Although now that I can see the 2008 picture, She is way too old. :scared:

Anyone know if Arcade section of the game is going to feature every car & track in the game?

After going through all previous editions of the GT series, I've tired of the gameplay... start with nothing, build up etc etc... unless this is drastically different I don't think I have the energy for it... heck I know I don't have the time for it any longer...

I just wanna set up my cockpit, dust off the DFP, invite some friends round, and compete for fastest lap at different tracks with different cars...

I'm wondering the same, since it's possible in fm3 and I like it. When I get GT5 the first thing I want to do is take the Zonda R and drive on the Nurburgring with all aids off.
 
I guess the arcade mode will at least provide some fast cars to begin with, but those exotics are gonna require us to buy them in GT mode and get unlocked in arcade mode, just like the old days. Hopefully we'll get to drive our cars from the garage in arcade mode as well. :)

I really like the way in Forza 3 you can choose one car to drive with and it selects the tournaments you can do with that specific car. Would love to have that in GT :)

Just buy and spec your 458 and drive! :)
 
I hope when revving some cars, with enough torque.The bodyshell moves at a standstill.Also condensation/smoke/flames could come out of the exhaust pipes.Test Drive 4 or 5 had condensation that blew out of the pipes.
 
is there still enough time to implement "rally paris-dakar"?... ;-)

That would be awesome. I never liked how the car had no body roll when revving. And to throw in the smoke,flames, and condensation would be beautiful.
 
Does anybody else hate the 3,2,1, start countdown sound in GT games. It has been like that since GT1 i think. I find the sound really annoying.
 
To me all of the hud now, makes GT games look & feel like arcade games.Including the countdown too.
 
and tell me how the professional HUD that used in all-mighty Nissan GTR looks and feels like arcade?Is "g-meter" in all arcade games?or separate throttle AND engine response gauges?

I'm not feeling Kaz's 2010 pick, I think he went maybe a bit avant-garde with his selection, I guess he has to prove he has the right aesthetic judgment for this competition.

Yes!...and also the smooth yazz sound in the GT5P menu is annoying...I am so glad that ion GT5 we will be able to have put in our own music..just hope it will be for menu also and not only during races...'cause during races i put music off and only sound on...
 
Got my G27 today. Works great and all but how can I use the paddles behind the wheel to shift?

It would not be gran turismo without this sound. I hope they will keep it, as long as the series exist.

About the hud. I think the hud is ok. The only thing I really do not like is the new leader-board, I couldn't care less about which AI or online-opponent drives behind me. It just takes screen space away. I hope it can be deactivated.

I have a feeling we might be surprised at TGS or the release, remember the ‘Ring documentery thing, they said “Sabine Schmitz is racing in a Porsche” (PD needs a liscens to say that, don’t they????)
 
No they don't need a licence to verbally say Porsche.
