The 5.0 Mustang basically saved the Muscle Car in the US, and reignited the Muscle Car wars. If it wasn't for them, I don't think we would have the new Camaro and Challenger. If drag racing is in GT5, it would be a sin to not have a 5.0 Mustang. In my opinion, I would rather have what I have listed. Porsche is great and all, but I don't a giddy about them like others.

We all have our personal preferences and dislikes but this is a bit like comparing apples and oranges to be honest.
In no way does adding different models of already included brands ( Ford and Dodge ) have something to do with Porsche being included or not or even being desired or not.
If PD decided to include the models you mentioned they could unlike adding Porsche which they really do want but can't get at this moment.
I can name countless cars I wish to see included in favour of other cars or even certain brands which currently are in but this would be a pointless exercise.
I simply welcome any new addition simply for the fact it is a new addition, in no way would the inclusion of Porsche prevent PD from including those Ford and Dodge models, PD simply chose not to.

...Besides she's way out of their league.
She's very attractive an all, but every time she has to do an episode on set with one of those guys, I can't help but see the look in her eyes that screams, "WHAT have I done wrong with my life that put me on this webcast!!!"

...... i just hope their 2nd part is more "in depth".

Andreas Nie has that deer in the headlamps thing going on, he's very self centered, always referring to his point of view or opinion instead of general facts. He belongs on this board.

It seem to me that they cut up his report so that they could milk it for several episodes. They didn't do Andreas any favors chopping up his information. I hope the next portion is done better (for his and our sake).

Correction : You will be in panic and chaotic.

WE will have GT in a month.:sly:
Why would I be in panic? You're getting GT5 in september?

Agreed! I don't get the big hype for Porsche.

That's not what I meant. I like Porsches and I've come to accept their way of doing things. What I meant was that Kaz pretty much put the subject to rest yet some people like to bring it up and stir the pot again.

Wasn't that what we were having the past days before and after Gamescom?

Yeah, but it didn't last long cause everyone was positive everything would be shown/explained/revealed at TGS. There is nothing after TGS before the release.

.
Why would we?

Sorry I didnt realize that a month from the end of september is still september. Must be the daylight savings that got me twisted.

Yeah it's kind of a Catch 22, without Inside Sim Racing, no one would know\care about her.

Without Jess not half as many people would care about Inside Sim Racing.

Any word on when the Part 2 is coming?

Because that's what people here do, they panic.
A month from september 19th is october 19th. I said 6 weeks cause that's how long after TGS GT5 comes out. Thought it was pretty obvious.
Not my fault you said you'll have GT5 in a month from now.

-> New preview vid from ISR, still watching the vid. The start of GT5 vid starts at 28:00:

:)

watching that SSCA recap was like looking at PS1 games. That's one quirky, notchy game.

I'm under the impression many people would actually credit the '05 Mustang, and it's incredible success, as re-igniting the muscle car wars and spurring Chrysler and Chevy to bring back the Challey and Camaro. A car from 20-some odd (near 30 now) years ago is still interesting (a friend's dad had a 5.0 Fox when I was a kid, loved it), but I don't see how it has much bearing on the current market.

I was going to say... I find it odd when there's ever complaints of certain cars being put in. Or people that have allegiances to certain brands to the point they'd rather not see other ones included. Always thought car enthusiasts just generally love cars, so the more variety included, the better!

For all I care they add the complete back catalogue of British Leyland and offer a Premium AMC Pacer ( actually that would be kind of cool ) as the more the merrier.
Any new brand is a new choice, the fact it's added doesn't therefore mean another brand or even model has to be sacrificed.
Some petrolheads are more singleminded than others I guess, I really like an eclectic mix of different cars and brands as I appreciate different cars for different reasons.

This.👍 They need more "crap" cars to go with all the Evo's,Skylines, and super cars, While it's great to finally see the prancing horse, raging bull bugatti and mclaren I'd like to see more lower hp brands aswell.

Oh lord! do not agree!!!!!!
Though I guess it's not as bad as shoving a ton of american junk in the game.
The nice thing about tuning is that terrible cars can be made acceptable.

Hey Andreas did fine; imagine the pressure knowing all those opinionated GT 'addicts' (I am one of them!) are watching :)

I liked seeing the different game footage too!

👍 Andreas, Danke schoen (sorry no umlaut:))

That Jessica Lopez chick is friggin' HOT!

OMG LOL. I'm an Anglo-Quebecer but listening to that dude saying those French words made my palm make contact with my face lol.

:yuck:!! Yeah or maybe he had a lil too much fun with his co-host on the set.:lol:

His French was better than John Furlong at the winter owelimpics in Vancouver!:)

Maybe he cut his lip shaving?

Jessica - Do you think she knows so many are drooling over her-not me I am long past her age range :sly::dopey::)

Not just that; they're almost more fun to take to the establishment and wipe the floor with 👍

I'll never forget beating a friend in GT1 with a fully tuned Demio against a Viper

I did perhaps use one of the worst possible examples to prove a point ( although they did actually produce a few interesting cars in my opinion ) and to clarify my point, I'm not saying I like each car ever build, far from it, but I wouldn't advocate a certain brand from being excluded purely because I don't like it.
A lot here seem to be very fond of Koenigsegg, I can't see the appeal of this brand at all ( not because it's a supercar, I like those as well ) but if they're included in GT5 I will certainly welcome it and even try it.:)

Is he shaving with a rambo knife, no that's a cold sore.

Oh yeah, she must, she's a mermaid 'swimming in a sea of virgins'

A rare thickly beauty in a myriad of "lollipop" bobbleheaded types.

Somebody got the rigidity refresher plan.:dopey:

I like British Leyland. They may have been a financial mess, but they made good cars. Have you forgotten the MG B, Rover P6, Rover SD1, Triumph Dolomite, MG Montego Turbo, Austin Metro, the Mini? If you don't like them then don't use them, but don't limit others from using them. They're no worse than the near-bankrupt General Motors (who have killed Vauxhall & Pontiac may I add), Chrysler and Ford.

I was hoping that the huge, red, over the top font was clue enough that I was joking.
As I said, I'd prefer those crumb buckets over most american cars.

Did somebody notice that at Insidesimracing, they have a HUGE GT5 pic? Right side. Find it kinda funny because I had the impression they're not really huge fans of the series.

They have many GT5 posters.

Didn't intend to sound noobish, just do not watch too often the show.

Edit: Is that Famine at 32:20?

I understand all that, and I know they could add them if they wanted, but my point was, I, personally, would rather them spend the time on the cars I mentioned vs Porsche. I just don't have any interest in driving one.

The 5.0 Mustang ruled the mid 80's to early 90's as far as American Muscle cars. GM then introduced the new and improved 350 (LT1) in the '93 Camaro/Trans Am, Ford then brought out the DOHC 4.6 Cobra motor (and improved the SOHC 4.6 in '99), GM put the LS1 in the Camaro/Trans Am in '98, Ford put a Eaton roots S/C on the DOHC 4.6 in the '03 Cobra, and that is where things got interesting, and started taking off again in a true Muscle Car war. Dodge/Chrysler brought out their SRT8 products, then 2 years later, the Challenger came out. Shortly after the Challenger was introduced that it was going into production, GM said they were bringing the Camaro back. However, it all started back in the mid 80's with the 5.0 giving a good punch in a small package, when the only other proformance offerings were the 350 TPI (junk), and turbo 4-cyl econo boxes like the Omni. I guess you could actually go back to the early 80s, when Dodge and Ford were playing around with the turbo 4-cyl, and then in the American car tradition, bigger/more powerful is better. The Buick GNX of '87 also was competing, and making others step up their game. Anyway, this is going way off topic, but I just wanted to point out that it started well before the '05 Mustang, however, it did start the retro trend.

Of course she does. Chunky chicks need love too.

Can't believe you can even find something bad to say about Jessica Lopez  I think she is hotter than fish grease. She is not chunky, but she is not a beanpole either, which is a good thing.

Now I know what Kaz meant when he said the Jag is almost a standard car

Now I know what Kaz meant when he said the Jag is almost a standard car

He said that?

Because the shots of the engine, and now the grain on the steering wheel and the gold Jaguar emblem, I wouldn't say that amount of detail is the Standard, right?

Yes he was joking the detail is staggering.

#Gullible!

And imagine, those are off-screen shakey game showy snapshots, face to face in 1080p, .
