Okay, GT5 has the best cockpit view ever. Seriously. I got GT5P today and It doesn't mess me up using the cockpit view. It's actually pretty comfortable. Unlike other games like Shift and others where it's just freaky.

Shift was just way too jerky in the cockpit and the physics were horrible.

Looks as if GT5 is gonna have some good tuning options. Look at all the tire options and you can actually upgrade your exhaust manifold.

Holy junk man. Not only are you a day or two late with these, you also posted huge pics which are not only annoying and unnecessary, but also frowned upon.
 
Menu's look great but we still don't know the full depth of them. Not much to say until we get more info, can't really judge it from just a couple screenshots.

im on this forum alot ... and those pics are new to me!!!!! im suprised i missed them two days ago oh well.... thanks soo much for posting them . i can already tell that me and the sports exhaust will get along just fine >:)

Yeah i can't wait to fully explore those exhausts to get that right blance of power and grumble from my baby. :sly:

Dropping on those racing suspension kits properly lowered and stiffened. I just can't wait to till give us the full details on the tuning. I already know how great the rest of the game is gonna be. So this is the only aspect thats left for me to know about.
 
the car i plan on using the sport exhaust on is the 03' audi rs-6 ... a friend of mine owns one and i can tell you right now it sounds sick enough with its biturbo 4.2 v8.... so i cant wait to get some exhaust on it and make it lighter... its a 4 door
 
Where is the place where we post what we want in GT6??? Because after seeing karting in GT5, I think it's only fair that we now as for motorcycles in GT6. AND, make sure that PD lets us race motorcycles with cars.
 
One thought...

Since we are able to race nascar, cars, on other tracks... What would happen if we raced it on a night track? There are no Headlights (Or brake lights for that matter) so we wouldn't be able to see whats in front of us. Do you think they won't allow the nascar 'cars on night/24hr events?

NASCAR at ovals will be fine at night because of the track lights. Take NASCAR on the Nurb at night and Stevie Wonder might as well be driving.
 
Its lovely seeing all the new screenshots and menus etc but I think its also spoiling some of the surprise when you fianlly get the game - its a catch 22 isn't it.
 
Hopefully they leave that decision to us. You want to drive a NASCAR around the 'ring at night? Sure, go for it but good luck setting a fast time and winning races with your choice of car.

I guess I'll have a go at being Stevie wonder on November 2nd! (Or whenever I try nascar)

You're absolutely right. Not so much with GT4 since to me it's a rehashed of GT3 but when I bought GT5P, I knew nothing of what to expect. For example I never even knew (back in 2008) that a site like GTP existed. The good thing is that lately I've been busy with work with little time for GT5 fact hunting. The closer it gets to the date, the less I actually want to know. Simply because I want to be like the proverbial little kid in the candy store when I first start the game. Besides, I hate this place anyway. Seriously.
