Funny, this thread was full of 'it's just maintenance' and then what do we get, surprise, surprise... it comes with a 475MB update too... what can it be, what can it be...?

...oh its another 20 Skylines and 50 new MX5 variations.

(ok, joking aside, I hope this is something neat, as I'm getting to grips with my new G27 wheel and looking forward to some new stuff...)

Just like I said, maintenance, with a few added features. Nothing like some of the wild speculations that were going on in this thread. I rest my case.

I think you may have that wrong. The large patch would suggest otherwise. eg I cannot see PD doing another patch in a few weeks time just for the Academy cars.

We don't know what can be in that 1/2gig. Updates always come before DLC announcements according to my memory.

Yes, but the cars destined for DLC show up in the NCD with the red DLC logo next to them. There are no such logos, so unless they plan on releasing a tiny update to make them show up just before they release the next DLC I think it's safe to say this patch is DLC free.

Which begs the question, "If it's not DLC what is it?" Well, from my estimation a lot of it is taken up by the GT Academy cars along with Twin Ring Motegi and it's various layouts. Whether Motegi is a one piece DLC rather then a free add on remains to be seen though...

I'm having doubts that the stickered up GTa cars take up that much space. Hopefully we'll get something nice out of it.

I agree really it is just the "skin" of cars already in the game IE silivia r34 etc etc

They will probable have a slight tune on them over the stock variation, so they will more than likely be classed as new full models rather than a skin and a setup file

Bugger no Schulze '12!

Well at least we got something, being able to adjust the BGM and SFX with the quick options being the best bit.

@GTPorsche deal is a deal add me and i'll send the Schulze 11 :)

Locking this as it's in the past and we have a thread on the update.
