Geez, calm down people! I'm having a hard time understanding where exactly I offended anyone. But for the sake of peace, I apologize and ask that you point out what rule did I break so I wont repeat it.

I merely stated that there are limited edition cars that are so unique that you can't exactly emulate their performance by tuning a standard edition yourself. Sometimes these cars are made with parts that you can't just buy in a regular car shop, and I doubt GT5 is gonna give you that option - no racing game that I know offers special edition tuning parts.

For example the Nismo 400R (of which 99 were sold. In real life.) is basically a tuned Skyline, however Gran Turismo doesn't give you the option to purchase the revamped internals of the engine block, which is part of what makes this car different from the other Skylines. You may be able to get the same horsepower if you want, but you have to take a different approach, and it affects the car in other areas where the 400R is immune due to a stronger engine block. Thus, the performance would be different, no matter how much you try to approach it.

What I'm getting at is...if there's a "tuner" car in the game, for the most part it's there for a reason. It should be on the list.
 
Except the Nismo 400R is offered in Gran Turismo, as a different model. The "tuner" cars in GT5P are simply existing standard cars with made up additions by Polyphony. That is why I have not listed them as unique models.
 
Hey The359, you might want to change the Infiniti Coupe Concept to black. There is a shot of it in-game.

I don't know, but this car looks like the G37 Concept, and has Infiniti badges. I assume it's the same one.

Yeah, they call it the Nissan Skyline coupe concept yet it is covered in Infiniti badges......

I'm incredibly happy that this is being released in the US, as it'll give me an excuse to get a PS3 for X-Mas. :D The selection looks damn good already.

They are the same car, Nissan just swaps the badges depending on where they are showing it.
 
Some quick Googlage looks like it is indeed the 300SL, everything is absolutely right where it's supposed to be.

I noticed the names of some cars we've not yet seen when it went over those tape-like things... specifically Laguna, but I can't remember what else I saw.

The "muscle car" appears to be a Japanese car that had previously been in GT4. I want to say it's one of the Isuzus but I'm not positive.

Actually, much of that footage seems to be clips of PD working on GT4...
 
True, but the RenaultSport Spyder wasn't in GT4.
Ergo, since they were tweaking with it, but it wasn't in GT4, it must have been in a game that WASN'T gt4; my prediction (and hope) is that it is GT5; can't wait to do a MR Sports car race with 15 opponents! Would personally choose...Lotus 340R.

I am sooooo excited bout Aston being in there.
Can anyone confirm or hint to the Vanquish (or S) being in the full game ?
Its not in Prologue, but I was wondering if it could be as it is my favourite and the fastest Aston available.

Therefore, it would be silly not to have the best !

Glad there is Ferarri though

also, in the Youtube vid a while back, at the 00)32 second mark, with the blackish Audi R8 racing against a silver vehicle, does anyone know if its is Porsche,or AM Vanquish ? or even a V8 Vantage ?

I really hope that it is the Vanquish ! that car ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
That car just ahead of the R8 is a Ferrari F430.


The Vanquish is very likely for GT5, I wouldn't worry too much. :)

Definitely the 117 Coupe, yeah. Didn't see anything in-game that was new otherwise, just a lot of recycled stuff.
 
Vanquish has got to be a definate along with the DB9 and V8 Vantage, possibly the DBS too.
I wonder if we'll be really lucky and get the old 1977 V8 Vantage. :dopey:

 
Do people not understand this isn't a wishlist?
