I hope you get what I mean. We have dozens of muscle cars, race cars and japanese (Skylines!!!!!) cars, but very few cars like the Enzo. Right now I even doubt that we will get cars like the Zonda F/R/Cinque, Koenigsegg ccgt, classic sportcars like the Ferrari 330p4
I really hope that some are going to be added, but right now Im really pessimistic...

BTW: I might have spotted a premium car in GTPSP:

"I been playing for the last hour or so and I came across to this:

80317a2.jpg

Its an AU CERUMO Supra race car from the JGTC,but when I came across the 3d model of the car I found a steering wheel with the respective orange paint",I don't use cfw and I don't have an AV cable to take a good picture of it,but anyone who have GTPSP and have this car can confirm this please,I try to find these details on confirmed premiums(like Ferrari Enzo or Bugatti Veyron) but they do not feature this details,If someone else can take fair well picture of it we may get a new premium for the list :) .

Did anyone watch GT5 e3 special with sim racing tonight? The guy mentioned about some cars that have to be still introduced to the series. My guess Porsche will make it in this time, as well have full cockpit view. Unless they talk about diffrent sports cars as the Kosinsagggagggg or the Gumpert, or other super sports cars.

Koenigsegg would be nice, but hopefully we see the newer Astons, 2011 GT500, MP4-12C, 599 GTO, etc. Can't w8 to see the LF-A and Honda HSV.

So Kaz confirming there will be no PORSCHE in GT5 is still not enough proof to you?

I'd rather see more classic/older cars make the premium cut instead of the same boring supercars every other racing game has anyways. In fact, I think they've shown us too many supercars already - come on PD where's my Honda City Turbo II?

I for one think we have a pretty good variety of cars already. Sure, I want more of everything, everyone does, but 200+ is plenty. 👍

👍

I really like the slow car events more :)

I hate to race with an 900hp car trough an city course...
Agreed.

Imagine the online races in which we will now be able to the decide our own rules. For example, a VW Golf GTi cup would be a blast, because everyone can drive these relatively low powered FWD cars. Just look at the Jetta TDi cup in iRacing. Those are some very close races, simply because they're easy to handle and not very powerful. 👍

The graphics are not the best, but that still looked like so much fun great video! Makes me want GT5 so much more!

DB9

Enzo
F40
F430
GT
Gallardo
Murcielago
GranTurismo S
F1

OK, I too, am a supercar lover, and I think that list is great! What are you talking about?

Lets think about this, RUF has been in GT games before, Pagani has as well, the LFA will be there, McLaren has the F1 so maybe the race version and the LM and GT versions as well, along with the new MP4. I don't think weve seen anything yet. No Paganis so far. No LFA, no HSV (new super GT NSX). Rumors about the GT1 Aston DBR9. Probably more GT1 cars. Maserati maybe? Lambo maybe? 550GT maybe? I'm hoping, wishing but it's not out of question. I'm hoping the premium cars can be turned into race cars or at least some of them, like the GT5P versions of the vette and viper tuned, the Elise tuned, EVO tuned etc etc.

I was thinking the same thing, a slower tight race grid will be alot of fun, much different experience from a high speed supercar race. Gameplay/fun can easily outweigh graphics. Its cool GT5 has both qualities.

Ferrari will easily have the most premium cars in GT5 other than the manufacturers in Japan.

They had a nice line-up in GT5 Prologue, and in many of the advertisements or messages on the GT site, they use a Ferrari cockpit. So, you'll notice this a lot:

"Produced under license of Ferrari Spa. FERRARI, the PRANCING HORSE device, all associated logos and distinctive designs are trademarks of Ferrari Spa. The body designs of the Ferrari cars are protected as Ferrari property under design, trademark and trade dress regulations.

Ferrari cars have gotten tons of montages in the trailers, as well.

And also, in one of the E3 interviews Here, Chris Miranda said: "We're definitely constantly adding new Ferrari vehicles into our library, something that a lot of people have been requesting....you know, a lot of people wanted supercars."

No doubt once you feel those physics its going to be all. :D

Yeah, its not bad, but your exagrating it a bit... M3 a supercar? R8 a supercar? NSX a supercar? :D

Im just a bit pessimistic, for example... I`m a huge fan of the Pagani Zonda and GT4 only had the C12 and C12s IIRC, right?
Since GT4 several new models have appeared, like the Zonda F or the Zonda R.
We only have 170-200 premium cars, right? And I think that all those NASCARS are counted as different models, like those JGTC cars (PD has done similar things in all GT games before). So there isn`t that much room left in the premium car list for some supercars.

Its not only supercars, Im also a big fan of classic cars, especially old Ferrari or Mercedes (W125! How could they not include this car in GT4 :D ) race cars... We haven`t seen one of that kind ;)

Yeah, I could be wrong and even if it turns out like that, GT5 will be an awesome game... But Im sure that im not the only one who would love to drive those cars most people can`t even dream of around the Ring ;)

I haven't played enough Forza 3 to make judgement but the cars in SHIFT while fun to drive to a certain extent (and to me that would mean 30 to 45 minutes) don't quite possess the sublime feeling you get from cars in a good sim. While there's an undeniable difference between driving a Lamborghini and a Porsche, it feels contrived and unrealistic. Unless of course you're using the PC version post-mod which I've heard is pretty decent.

M3? ok maybe not. R8? Yes. Definetly. NSX? ya your right, no.
Still. There will be more. Hoping Reventon and FXX.
But this is not a wishlist!
