I think that there was enough of 6 curve flat circuits like London, Suzuka or Tsukuba in GT5p. Now I would like to race some more complex and natural, maybe Deep Forrest, Midfield or even Spa?

Suzuka isn't flat...but I get your point and I agree. (Fuji isn't flat either....and especially not Eiger).

Tsukuba: small and short
Top Gear: good for TT but not for racing (and not very attractive in therms of look)

My wishlist:

Tracks
Tsukuba
Midfield

Cars
BMW M5
Audi RS4 (B7)
Ferrari Enzo
Aston Martin Vanquish
Mercedes C-Klasse C63 AMG (2008)

-Fix the online (private races, voice chat, etc...)
-Next generation damage modeling with 2 different levels Amateur and Professions. On professional, it's not just cosmetic damage, so hit a wall or another car going 60MPH and you might break the chassis in your car and spend your credits to fix it in the garage as well as losing the race. On Amateur it would of course be way more forgiving and just have cosmetic damage.
-Dynamic weather change, the track gets warmer mid day, rain, etc...Ability to turn this feature on/off for people that might not want it.

Those would be the core things, Lambos, Bugattis and tracks would be icing on the cake, but those can come in GT5. The things I mentioned above are more important IMO.

Hi everybody.
My first message here. Glad to see that there are so many "hardcore" drivers out there.
:-)

My personal wish list includes these things:
1. quick tune in two player battle
2. in quick tune should be a sketch of some sort to help adjust toe and camber
3. The ring, it's complete as we've seen in gt-r story
4. some sort of free ride where you're alone on track, but have quick tune (it's a pain having to go in single race and managing to do 1-3 laps before again having to overtake them all)
5. Some weather conditions like rain or snow, or even having some parts of the track frozen
6. when going to rankings , it's kinda hard to remember all your achievements, you'd have a "My records" button to see every record you've made.
7. Private rooms and ability to add other users as friends so if they're online you invite them and that's it. I know most of these stuff are for sp, because I'm not much of a online player( bad experience when first played, but nvm.
So please do comment, but when posting write only positive comments, rest of them keep to yourself.... j/k :D

just wondering if someone could tell me if there is any official word on the next update? too many pages to read through

thanks.

My wishes

A proper Nissan Silvia would be a good place to start...
A Front-wheel-drive Renault Clio 2.0 Sport,
A wonderful Mercedes 190E 2.5 16,
And, to really confuse people, a Citroën with oleopneumatic suspension!

The wikipedia page for that is incredibly interesting, but it fails to communicate one basic fact about the clever suspension: A side-effect of the suspension (and possibly what made it good for rallyists) was to reverse weight transfer. Slam brakes, rear drops. Turn, it eventually banks through. Throttle, front dips. Which means, FF is actually good here!

There has been nothing official but Kaz said that they have atleast 1 more update planned.

If a genie in a bottle granted me 3 wishes for spec IV, they would be.

1: Skidmarks and tracks that "rubber up".
2: Cut corners bring sand onto the track. (less grip)
3: Online warm up/free run/qualifying.

Wishlists are great but they better fix the setups always reverting to 100% weight.

This and Audi Sport Quattro

I was delighted to see the ur quattro in GT4. But then disappointed as it sounded nothing like a straight 5-pot and a bit miffed at its tuning potential (The 2.2 litre, turbo'd Audi straight 5s can produce a lot more than 400-odd BHP).

I would love some kind of rally/dirt track. Any road course would be great but I would like to see how the dirt physics work on GT5P.

Hehe would be pretty funny if that traction control system for when your in the grass or sand would be on all the time on a rally track.

I wouldnt mind a couple of the original tracks. Would love to see Red Rock valley. Maybe Trial mountain and a night track like the original SS Route 11. Or even just update the existing track with a day night weather beta. That would change the strategy of the tracks completely.

Car wise. I prefer the more everyday street car as opposed to the race cars. Obviously the JDM tuners. Maybe get the JDM FD2 Civic Type R, I would like to see a more realistic handling Honda Prelude Type S (my personal car).
Or even a rally event and get the Mini Cooper SS, Toyota Celica Rally car from GTHD.
Oh and the Nissan 300zx TT and the new Nissan 370Z (which i can see being the most likely next car considering Nissans work with Polyphony.)

Last night, when i was racing online i thought about it, what i really would want from Spec 4.
Frankly said, damage doesnt need to be there in Prolouge, or any new cars, what is in my eyes more important, that PD will give us a new track.
Even though i would die for Nordschleife, i dont really want it in Prolouge yet, so if we could get another track, (no not Le Mans) like lets say, Infenion, Or Laguna Seca, or any other kind of track, that would be it.
Because, i'm sure you can call me Mr. Sabine for Susuka and Fuji, the amount of laps i've driven there is crazy. For all i know is, i could actually do a lap with closed eyes by now.

So, for Spec 4 i recommend : New Track and possibility for one new Race Spec Car!

Chris

1- New track: Tsukuba. Why? It´s suitable for drift and racing, also it is good for car's selection of GT5P, minus F2007;

2- New (real) colision physics;

3- Private room's and other suitable tools for on-line.

I could not have said it better pal.

No offence to anyone, but why do most people, given a choice, want road cars. I know these are not your daily driver type cars but still, wouldn't you prefer pure race machines. Driving an Aston DB9 is fun, but who in their right mind would choose it over an DB9R?

A lot of people prefer driving something they may realistically some day own - myself included. It's nice taking your favourite road car racing around a track.

This isn't to say that people don't want race cars as well, of course :) .

Exactly. The reason why i loved gran Turismo 1 in the 1st place was the fact that i could drive pretty much any realisticly ownable car that i love and drive it. Driving race cars and tuned machines is the plus side to it really. All part of the package.
Wouldnt complain even if it was a small Smart roadster as the update will be free. (hopefully)
